  1. That’s exactly what I thought, I saw these originally on Aeroscale….
  2. Has anyone used or sampled the No Carrier Film Decals from Fantasy Printshop. I was reading about these and they sound pretty good to me as I do tend to get silvering even if they are on a high gloss coat. They are a UK based manufacturer.
  3. Flawless as ever John, congrats
  4. Welcome aboard, interesting subject and conversion…..
  5. Thanks Carl, another urban myth dispatched to the dusty corner of someone’s imagination……
  6. Guys what’s going on, one did my back once when I foolishly thought I could go and play rugby again when I was 30……didn’t even make the next training session……..hope your collective backs get better soon…..
  7. Thanks Peter for the heads up, TOS is one place I never go these days, looking at the mouldings Carl shared that’s a lot of expensive tooling being thrown away……..if you believe that rumour mill……..
  8. So glad to see you back with us…..looking forward both the accessories and the Lanc…..
  9. Gaz, just caught up. Simply stunning, congrats on beautiful executed dio…….I built an 88mm wen I first came back into the hobby but never painted it…..hmmm you have inspired me Gaz….
  10. It’s been very quiet……
  11. Kev, your Stuka looks amazing, it’s a real shame with the Lanc that all that beautiful internal detailing will never be seen……. Having been to SMW at Telford, I was wondering how built examples there will be this year……
  12. Like buses, nothing for years and then two come along, looking forward to this and all of the AM……flaps / dive brakes ?
  13. Happy birthday……..
  14. Gaz, so sorry I hear that news, that’s tough at 8 months….
  15. Would love to see pics of Stuka, they are very rare in built format. Since HGW just released belts and masks I’m really interested in building one.
  16. Welcome aboard Kev, hopefully you didn’t fry to much today. Great start to an amazing kit, looking forward to the next instalment……..
  17. Thanks Kai, you must be having the same weather as us, hot, hot ,hot, so no airbrush work for me…..
  18. Since my earliest days of going to model shops I’ve always coveted either a MTB / E / PT boat but never did buy one. Move the dial 50 odd years forward and leisurely perusing eBay and this gem popped up. The Italeri 1/35 PT boat complete with crew and AM for the 50 calls. Basically it rounded out about £50.00 of RRP……..This will another different genre for me but looking forward to it…….and it’s big, the ELCO 80’ Torpedo Boat PT-596 measures out at 700mm in 1:35 scale. Weapons include 40mm Bofors, 37mm M9 gun, 20mm Oerlikon and twin .50cals all being in metal bar the 50 cals hence the extras. This is not JFK’s PT109 but later build. ….. and more figures to paint……
  19. Good save John, didn’t Tamiya do something similar in an early 32nd kit…..only having built the Corsair badly not sure which one…….
  20. Absolutely stunning, can’t wait for final reveal….
  21. That’s what I thought as well, the bottles are half size but it gives you opportunity to test these finishes before investing in full size……
  22. With the HGW AM I’m really tempted by the Skua now……
  23. John, and as if my magic another stunning build, looks awesome good Sir…..
  24. This was an epic build Ernie, when was 2017 / 2018 ? I going to have to practice a lot on these figures………..
  25. So another beautiful day day in Blighty, who would guess so a little more al fresco modelling. Been awhile since I did a Tamiya AFV straight, pretty much a shake and bake. Did find some AM squirrelled away…..
