  1. Mark, looking absolutely brilliant, love the camo…….it’s also great to see a much vaunted new kit actually being built congratulations, whatever happened to the Whirlwind, Helldiver etc builds?….……
  2. Sorry I have not being paying attention, stunning build and great modelling skills, I have never seen this kit in the UK, looking forward to the tender and stretch of track for the full effect, congratulations….
  3. All complete, posted in LSM Armour Complete section…….
  4. Calling this one a wrap, first Rye Field Models kit and I am impressed with the fit and detail. This is the no interior boxing but with engine. Albeit there is a lot of the interior included several items of the engine are missing. It’s a shame as the engine builds up nicely, the one item is the fans. RB m/c barrels used but kit main armament. Model finished in Vallejo Model Air and Vallejo Model Washes. Mig pigments also used. Hope it’s meets your approval……… my inspiration…… WIP here: thanks for looking…..
  5. Fantastic opener, this is the first 24th Harrier I’ve seen completed. I remember it well when it came out. Looking forward to your future builds……
  6. Thanks Hubert, the -3 Late is also non folding wing, so I don’t have to fight that conundrum, thank goodness. Hope you’re feeling better……
  7. I’ll try Paul, I’m adding Eduard AM on top so it may skew some of the geometry, I’ll highlight the pitfalls…….
  8. Kevin, looking really nice, the track pins were a bit fiddly and should have been a tad longer. Looking forward to the next stage. My H is finished just waiting for some sunshine to photograph it…..
  9. Wow as ever Mike……
  10. Nick, a masterclass, stunning build and beautifully rendered weathering, ,congratulations………
  11. John, very tidy work, I’m glad you are enjoying some aspects of armour. I am impressed with RFM and reckon they have surpassed Dragon. Tamiya need to look to their laurels if the want to stay in the armour game. Looking forward to the next instalment, stay strong John, if we can do it you can……🤪
  12. So the journey begins. One aspect that amazes me is that there are only 4 large sprues and 2 smaller ones. On top of that there are 15 items not required. Been so used to burgeoning boxes of sprues, so looking at this it’s almost where is it……..so starting with the engine and the Eduard AM……..decided not to do the Eduard flaps etc as they are sealed away after, is it the Devastator that the internal structure is exposed?…….
  13. The map is only of Lincolnshire, apparently some of the flight paths were within 4-5 miles of each other. The difference in miles between say Woodhall Spa and Coningsby is only 3 miles……..add in Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Norfolk and it was pretty crowded…..
  14. Ernie, a real connection to a squadron. Here is a map of Bomber County, I’m towards the south of the county……..this is the site….. http://www.bcar.org.uk/index
  15. Hubert, hope you both get on the road to recovery, we have taken the step of living like hermits……..let’s just hope and pray 2022 is better for all of us…..
  16. If I did one, I’d probable chose a airfield close to where I am, unfortunately I have 42 ex wartime fields to chose from…….a Bardney bird would be good…..
  17. Happy thanksgiving guys from all your friends from the other side of the pond. Enjoy this special day….🍾🍾
  18. Please do a WIP, good catch……
  19. Very very nice, congrats on a stunning build…….
  20. Thanks Rob, it’s all trial and error for me at the moment, I’m one holiday next week so booking some bench time…….
  21. Thanks Gaz, I know I’d seen it somewhere…… thanks John, I’d probably do the North Africa scheme again…… thanks Peter, wish I could spray thinner lines, I’ll have to practice. On holiday next week, trying to clear them before Christmas, so lots of bench time…..
  22. Nay that’s a girly game called rounders over here ………. And how can you guys have a World Series when the only teams are American………..just kidding…….
  23. Appreciated John, really enjoying the build, I’ll definitely build ICM again……..fancy doing a HE 111…….are we allowed to show the crooked cross on pics of the finished model?…….first Luftwaffe I’ve done since coming back to the hobby……
  24. You are to kind Gaz, I did put a coat of RLM 65 on the underside very thinly and I reckon it’s going to work……
