Im looking forward to this Gary. Great start on the pit. -
Yellow is hard colour to work with. You handled it with precision and grace Kevin. Very clean build and certainly a unique and interesting livery. Cheers M.

I was planing the Norinco clone as a deer gun, but then Justin said no and it has become prohibited in Canadistan.

With upmost joy I read the good news Peter. It had to be incredibly scary and treacherous journey, but you guys won. Both of you are top class warriors. I am very happy for you, proud to call you my friend.

ZM has it right, I was answering the question about the soft edge. Thank you for the great news regarding your health. God bless you both.

10cm overspray , everything till the very end of the war was running on RLM orders. Differences were given by the manufactured Erla, MTT-Regensburg or the Wiener-Neustadt (WNF) and visible mostly on the fuselage. Subcontractors played major role as well, that's why you can observe a slight differences for instance in tail sections or cowlings etc.

That looks really nice Peter, for some reason the black primer brings the typical 109 shapes to life. Can't wait to see your painting magic on this baby. Cheers Martin

I miss Jerry dearly, he was such a kind soul always ready to share and help. I was supposed to visit him at his ranch and then the Covid drama kicked in. I really wish he was still around. One more from the same film.

You are correct Peter , at that time it was standard 74,5,6, with a blurry transition of 02, which is not the 02 from the bottle. Just a mist, which resulted in variety of hues. Yellow marking of Eastern front and black tulip to make Goebbels happy. Here is his Werk Nr. 166221

I didn't mean to be pessimistic or negative. However if Eduard can create a decent 190 in 1/48 scale (10+years old kit), or Revell one in 1/32, I don't understand why Border who makes impeccably good armour should cheap out on such a well known and popular subject.

What I am finding amazing is the dealership's approach, fancy bow and welcoming message. Such a kind gesture. In Canada, you transfer the funds, get the keys and you're on your own. No class whatsoever. Good for you Rog, that's a pretty sweet ride. Congrats.đ

Border Fw-190 is not what it seems to be. First of all border is unable to distinguish between A-6 and A-8, instructions even call it Messerschmitt . Just by a quick glance I can see how the flange on vertical stabilizes is riveted in, should be moving free. Fuel rack , I havenât noticed in this video, but there should be two, so as the gun covers. Propeller blades looks like they came from Yak-9. Option for ânarrowed/ openâ canopy is not there. Some filling/ service ports are omitted. this thing is half baked cookie regarding colours? No a biggie.

Of course. As I said , that is the AK lacquer pre-shading base, there will be a coat of enamel in a lighter shade going over it,,, having said that, I have to admit that I am not entirely happy with the poopy brown either. This is my first RAF aeroplane in many years, decades, eons, so I am trying to figure things out as I go.
