What is on your bench right now ? Share a picture :)
Martinnfb replied to Martinnfb's topic in Modelling Discussion
Thank you Harvey. This kit is going together surprisingly easy. here is the wing, sanded 400, 600,2000 grit -
That’s a very common story for almost every Trumpeter kit in my collection. However Ade, your build is very motivational and I’m contemplating to get one 109 for myself, with bald intentions to drop the engine trust line and cowling rework. If you like I can scratch one headrest glass for you once I get my kit.

As I’m waiting for the aftermarket stuff, I had to do some basic steps like reshaping the propeller blades, spinner and distressing the surface of the main wing. -
I was set to boycott Trumpeter for ever and ever after, but……what was I thinking. Should be a quick build. The aftermarket I ordered consisting of harness, wheels, guns, IP and decals, costs more that the kit itself.

Thank you, it’s model master aluminum, non polish able lacquer. The rest is painted with AMMO acrylic. There will be more weathering applied later to represent well used school machine. -

And few more. Also I would avoid of pure white at all cost. Maybe a yellowish filter , to tone it down? But that's just me -

I’m expecting quality and build-ability of a Fly Models Hurricane. Decent short run, with some tricky spots. Also looking forward to see the difference between HpH resin and this new hybrid kit.
