  1. Sorry for the off-topic content. There is a problem with the side intakes that are not suitable for D version. EDIT: not to cause confusion, I was talking about the cooling scoops on the side of the fuselage. The once provided in the kit were used from the badge 53**** onward so basically at the end. The NACA side intake shape was more common.

  7. I believe the main thing is not to use snow material in it's pure white form, that is not natural. The rest would be texturing and light conditions. my 2c

  18. I believe they are wee bit longer, need to look it up. we are talking few inches at the most Edit: shorter span
  19. One note. Check out, amongst another details, the different engine cowling shape, Trumpeter/HobbyBoss kits have exactly the same shape on they DC-3/C47 kits (1/48,1/72) . The reason for that is most likely that they used as an example the Chinese copy of LI-2.
