I was thinking the same, interesting and cool subject but challenging and unpredictable build. To hit the paint job and finish on mark is almost impossible. I am actually in the process of ordering and testing Have glass paint and its variations. There has been lengthy discussion on variety of forums and it is a major PITA. -

One week left to the local show. Trying to finish this monster. In 1/16 scale, the opportunity for detailing is limitless. Needless to say that this kit is on 1/72 level and almost everything has to be altered or redone. -
It dissolves iron fallout contamination. Particles of iron in time can get into the pores in your paint and start corroding. This time of oxidation can affect the finish.
