Happy birthday, Jerry!

Glad to hear that they've at least given you room to breathe, Mark. It still sucks, though.

Roy's data placard decals are little gems too!

Unfortunately, most of it will be hidden by the huge spinner. -

Pulling the Rex off the SOD; some finagling of the engine and cowling, but I finally got it all sorted out. -
Do we see a B-24 in your future, Ernie? I contacted my LHS about Squadron's $200.99 pre-order price, and he's getting me one for $180.

I watched it in the course of a week. I thought it was outstanding.

Damn, Ernie - she's a sight to behold! -
I'm very tempted!

I was carrying a box of stuff out to the car the other night. Something slipped and crashed on the driveway. My poor N1K Rex! Loosened a tail plane, snapped one of the float struts, split the wing in a couple of places, and separated the fuselage from the wing. It was a blessing in disguise. I never liked the join of the upper and lower fuselage; Revell relied on butt joints all around. It gave me an opportunity to fill the panel lines on the Insert other media Scratchbuilders float - they were trenches. I coated the entire float with Tamiya putty, and I'm nearly done sanding so I can scribe properly... it will give me an opportunity to reinforce those pesky joints, too. I'm thankful the outrigger floats weren't attached yet.

I understand the country motif, Ernie - my cousin has an old Victorian home decorated appropriately. Except for the study, which is done in early Roddenberry.

If you don't mind doing some design work, this stuff is very handy - and there are all kinds of off-the-shelf components to go with it. It comes in natural aluminum or black anodized. I help high school students design and build robots, and we use lots of it. It cuts very nicely with a carbide blade in a power miter saw. https://8020.net/45-series?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIscnDiZ6n4wIVlLjACh34wQdTEAAYASAAEgIn9PD_BwE

You may have to do what the USAF did in Dayton - finish the enclosure once the B-36 is in.

If only Airfix would foray into 1/32 I might buy one of their kits. This one looks awesome!

It's looking great, Ernie! I think you've used FS12197 International Orange. I had to pick up a bottle for my 1/72 USS Scorpion. -
Happy birthday, Martin!

Mix that MM enamel with Mr. Color thinner - it will vastly improve drying time! -
