  1. I don't care where the molds came from - if it's accurate, sign me up! It would be great to have a new player in the WWI game...
  2. I hope all works out well for you and yours, Scott.
  3. I've been able to pick up these gems in the past month or so...
  4. Looking for a Camel, Harv.
  5. With the presumed demise of WNW, there seems to be no shortage of kits available on evilbay - whether it's people out to make a hefty profit or modellers forced to sell off their beloved stash to make ends meet. There are some kits I'd like to acquire. Do I wait, hoping the bubble will burst and prices will fall to a reasonable level or buy what I can?
  6. Been on a buying binge... I had forgot I ordered this... \ It's the bombardier's nose blister for my Dambuster Lanc. Needs a little polishing, but it's very nicely done.
  7. I've bought a couple of kits from Kitlinx in the past few weeks. Good service, but I'd be wary of placing an order for anything that's listed as anything but "In Stock". I lost out on Collishaw's Triplane and ended up with a refund.
  8. For many years, LSP was "home" for me. I still take a look regularly, but LSM is a much more fun place. Maybe it's their size that causes the quick clamp down on posts, but the place (to me) has become a lot less fun. One thing that bothers me: on their Facebook page, nobody can initiate a post except the moderators.
  9. I use my ancient Badger 350 (single action) for painting large stuff. I think it works very well for that. One bottle of paint damn near covered my 1/72 USS Skipjack.
  10. Happy anniversary, Carl!
  11. Scott, I've seen intakes dipped in latex paint (multiple times, building up layers) in order to make them seamless. Other than that, I've never heard of such a thing. Personally, I would be concerned about the paint lifting over time.
  12. Catalina next, John? That ought to take you about three weeks!
  13. Excellent work, Ron! I cut my teeth on Unigraphics; we had to run it on UNIX machines. Most of my later work was done on Autodesk Inventor.
