Great work, John. NZ did a great job with their "friendly" markings. Those white stripes look great. -

Great work Gazza. It looks like it is still on the road. Is it headed east or west? -
Clearing my "Shelf of doom".

Hi guys. This little Spitfire is for a young student. I spent quite some time on it. I have my other work to complete so want to get this done. I used MRP RAF dark green and brown. It doesn't look right. I was tempted to strip it and use GSI paint instead. However I can't justify the time. The boy won't know or care. However......??? Anyway his mum told me he is too lazy to build it. I used a black base. I think this is where it all went wrong. Knowing me, I will probably strip it and invest in a decal sheet. We shall see. -
Hi guys. I have read that these 2 companies are related. Is this true, and if so how are they related?

Hi guys. I am not having luck setting Airfix decals. Mark softer melted one. Micro sol proved inadequate. Is the Humbrol decal solution the way to go? Thanks. D.

I can answer one question regarding Fripp. Back in the 70's King Crimsons management managed to have the members believe they made ZERO money touring. Touring was only to support record sales. So the band was ripped off big time. When Fripp learned of this he became obsessive about money earned. My friend has a radio program that featured KC. Fripp's manager then tried to sue my friend because people may record the music. It always comes down to $$$. I tell students the 2 most important questions are "How much does it pay?" & "where's the gig?"

Soo.... What did you just get???
Sir Desmond Glazebrook replied to Dave J's topic in Modelling Discussion
I recently went on a spree, making the most of a sale. The largest model being the aforementioned Airfix Hellcat. That kit is at the base of a large stack and I am leaving it there. So no photo. Other kits are 1/48 & 1/72. Many are within my favorite subject, Japanese WWII subjects. The most spectacular of with is the huge Emily. Although 1/72, I would describe it as large. The recent new tool Hasegawa kits is equal to Tamiya IMO. Aftermarket is of course with each box. The Talon is just beautiful. -

I have this as well. Tamiya have released some excellent Japanese colours in their lacquer line. My last big kit is the airfix Hellcat. I stocked up on loads of 1/48 and a few Japanese bombers in 1/72. Is it permitted to show smaller kits here? -

Ryan your work is incredible. I am going to follow everything. Do you have links to other builds on the internet? If so I would love to check them all out. Thanks. -
The internet. I now have 10,000+ Luftwaffe images. I chucked every book but 2. Luftwaffe codes and marking and a Schiffer book on Jg54.
