Hey guys More work done on the turret basket. This view shows the gunners seat bottom mounted to its support bracket. Still need to add the back support. This view shows the loaders seat bottom mounted to its support bracket and what I believe to be part of the gun elevation system. Need to add the back support here to. This view shows the turret in place on the hull. Still alot more stuff to add. Scratch building takes a lloonnnggg time. Well that's it for now be back soon with more updates. Ron G

Hey all Another small update for you to look at. I did some more work on the turret. This view shows the 0.08" (2.032mm) thick plastic card that I added to the turret wall to bring it up to the correct thickness (80.0mm). Also I added some plastic card to the turret ring to get it to the finished size. This view shows what you will be able to see through the hatches, not much. A view of the turret on the hull. Getting the turret floor the correct height is being a real pain in the derriere!!! Oh well, the fun of scratch building...lol Ron G

Hey guys Small update, more work done on the turret basket. This view shows the upper turret ring. This still needs more work. I scratched up the gunner and loaders seat bottoms, still need to do the backs and the rest of the stuff. This view shows the comparison between the 1/35 and my 1/16 scale version. Hey guys More work done on the Tiger. I've been working on the turret basket details. This view shows the 1/35 scale RFM Tiger 1 earlys turret basket. This view shows my 1/16 scale turret and the details that I've been working on. This view shows the drawing I did for the turret ring and basket with the details I've been working on. This view shows the turret basket that I scratch built along with the details that I'm working on. This view shows the mechanism for the tank commander to turn the turret. Great build Ben. I have one of these and I plan on doing it in a N. Africa scene along side of my Tiger 1 and Panzer iii ausf N. Hope it turns out as nice as yours. Ron G

Hey Mark Check out my build of Trumpeter's 1/16 Panzer IV Ausf H. I added some scratch built stuff and some parts from AVM. I'm still working on it, but I put it on hold when my eyes started acting up. Ron G

Hey all Some updates on the Tiger. This view shows the two hull ammunition bin doors. The tan ones are 1/35 and the white ones are my scratch built 1/16 scale ones. This view shows them in place on the radio operators side. This view shows the drivers side ones. Still need to paint these. Next is the lower ammo bins, then the hull interior will be done. Ron G

Hey Carl It is a really nice kit, very detailed, but there are some really ittsy bittsy tinny tiny SMALL parts! A couple of them the sprue attachments are bigger than the part. Ron G

Hey all Got some more work done on the Tiger today. This view shows the drivers and radio operators positions. This is a closer view of the instrument panel, shifter and forward/reverse lever. I think I have some gauge decals for this. View of the fighting compartment area. This view shows the scratch built basket frame for the three Jerry cans and the water cans. Hey all Small update for you to look at. I got the Elfenbein painted on the rest of the inner hull. This view shows the drivers and radio operators positions. You can see the 4 machine gun ammo boxes, these need to be painted. There's a bunch of gertsaks that go here also. This view shows the redesigned and scratch built shifter, forward/reverse lever and the redone instrument panel. I added the 2 switches, gauges and fuses. I still have to add the ignition switch and light. I'll get them painted tomorrow. That's it for now. Ron G

You did a great job on that figure, how did you do his collar? It looks real. Ron G
