Yeah Guy it's a standard forgot to put in gear just got in from the store and hands had bags of groceries other wise I could grab the wheel and pull myself back in.The r/leg was still inside the truck in what felt like a half flip definitely bruised a frigg'in rib. -

That's neat Guy my father served over there with the 92nd BG went on less than five missions was assigned to command HQ duties as the main radio operator on the base.I had a nice tumble tonight parked the truck incline opened the door and wa-la I stepped out and it started rolling.I tied to brake just to damn fast ran over my own L/ankle when the door passed me it flipped me over and the following impact two knuckles on the R/hand impacted concrete.I tried to catch the front bumper but said F'it it stopped about 12' in my neighbors yard across the street. My right calf is sore as well as the middle of the right side of the back from the flip.I unlock the door and the F'in key jams in the lock I go "aw F me" I am bleeding and wore out some serious little demons out tonight. I took 600mg Ibuprofen now all I need is a good Scotch!!!!! -

Well the decals were glossed and then flatten with Testors flat took quite a few coats. The LG's are built just a little whittling looks to be in order to fit already tested on one leg.To be honest starting to get a little bored with the build but need to finish and move on. -
That's about the right price they had about 40sheets a few weeks ago was not moving fast and some smaller ones.

I need to get over and pick it up but our Hobby Lobby moved and did not reuse all the glass and have 4'X 22"(?) for $17.

I thought I have checked but thought 22/23" depth was big enough for a 1/32 B-17 but not sure about that lanc and that's housing it at an angle.I think a tower concept may be of interest if you plan on building more of the heavies less space in the long run also.

I have been contemplating the start of another floor cabinet of the same design as the first. The big wall cabinet @92'LX22'DX48'H was running out of room for the 1/32 which was my original intent for the cabinet but 1/48's had invaded again lack of storage. The other thing nagging me was the "ScharnHorst" @1/200 scale the hull is roughly 38/39" in length and just were do I keep that beast while building it?I needed to create a 4' gap on the wall in the HR.I was going to ditch one of the old floor cabinets then started realizing that building another floor cabinet with all the other wood work on the other side it's mine it's last!I started looking at the ole floor cabinet and said that might just fit underneath!!lol and behold it's the same height could not plan that better.I cleaned and moved about 15/20 planes to make 1/32 space and wa-la the platform for the beast is set easy-peasy.I also got all those kits off the floor moved into the house and cleaned and organized my upper closet for that to happen and yes Momma was not home Scott stuff was moving.

I know Trumpeter kits are not perfect but I think what you have looks quite convincing/realistic.I built the G-2 and liked the kit no major setbacks but I try to build to what is aesthetic to the eye but then my builds get seen by few outside of the shop. -

Well she has had her moments for me seems everything has to happen 3X times to get it right. The sidewalls I glued to the fuse to get a tight fit along the top ledge but I started by gluing in the IP first to the L/side.This part of the build was 3X in the position of the S/walls which in turn determines the position of the pilot seat,I was always to far back..The canopy framing tells one were the pilot is to be located.I started building the wing as per instructions it offset everything had to rip it apart and start with the lower center section to the fuse and work my way out.The wings fit OK going to be a little filler but the undersides had a .030" gap about nothing to complicated just another hurdle to overcome.I screw the pooch on the battery tray behind the seat and it whole not budge our break loose just said screw it once it hits the cabinet that's the end of that visual.I am going to finish this guy warts and all. -
Nice Peter looking every bit the part.
