  1. ROYAL MODEL 1:35 Diorama Accessories Items (Plastic Chemical/water container & bottles n.º 2/ Leaves n.º 3, Drinking Fountain, Shopping Cart; Coal Stoves – WWII) Available from Royal Model for the prices indicated below on the text Royal Model is a very well know name in the modelling world, specially for AFV/Dioramas models. There´s a brief history about Royal Model directly from Royal Model website: “Royal Model came into existence in the early 1990s in Catania (Italy) as a result of the passion that its founder, Roberto Reale, has always had for the world of art in general and of modelling in particular. In 1995 with the appearance of its first products, ROYAL MODEL soon was awarded the Modell Fan magazine prize in the "accessories for dioramas" category and from that time on there have been a continuing number of accollades that have led the company to invest all of its energies in the articles that it has produced to date. Today ROYAL MODEL is one of the few companies that can pride itself on offering a catalog that completely addresses all aspects of military modeling, in particular in 1/35 scale, always seeking to provide the modeler with ground-breaking products that are accurate in every detail. As in the past, ROYAL MODEL continues to dedicate as much attention as possible to producing its unique line of products, reproducing the most minute details with the utmost attention and precision, using the best materials available and innovative technology combined with experienced and knowledgeable personnel, while constantly engaging in scrupulous historical research for details which remains the bedrock of the success of this company. After 20 years of business we can rely on a world-wide distribution organization, which leads us to believe that we have succeeded in making our products readily available even for customers who may not be able to find them in their own location.” Shopping Cart Catalogue n.º RM737 Price: 16 € (One photo-etched sheet and 6 resin parts) This little set took me attention as soon it was release. It`s a great item in any modern(urban) diorama and I really want to see it in flesh. Lucky me J One photo-etched sheet is perfect in sharp and engraved detail, with a very thin meshed steel look. The side bars and the four wheels are made of resin, very well cast but very small, so extra care must be taken when remove form the resin cast block. The instructions sheet is a single sheet in one side with simple and clear directions. Plastic Chemical/water container & bottles n.º 2 Catalogue n.º RM648 (12 resin parts and one decal sheet) This set gives the modeler twelve containers, in resin, very well casted and with no distortions or bubbles. All the containers are in different shapes and sizes. The decal sheet is very thin and with a very good registration allowing achieving a natural and real looks of the containers. Drinking Fountain Catalogue n.º 720 Price tag: €12 (5 resin parts) A beautiful cast iron drinking fountain, with lovelly detail engraves. A beautifull detail on a European Diorama, a really neat one. Perfect to stand along the Miniart Tram, for example. This can have million utilizations on a diorama, like with water running and several people around it, a little bend one with no water in a destroy street… Imagination is the limit… no quiet, talent is the limit! J Coal Stoves – WWII Catalogue n.º RM744 Price tag: €14 5 Resin parts Coal stoves are essential in all homes back to WWII, and even nowadays to keep our home worm in winter time. So once again this set do have ultra utility on all WWII dioramas, in a house or in a destroyed house, or in debris-street. Simply can be put almost anyhere. An you get two coal-stove, quite different of each ones. One is circular with two draws engraves and a stove pipe. The other is square, with the coal drawer in the bottom, and also with a stove-pipe. 9. AVIATTIC (1:72 Night Lozenge Decal - 5 color upper & lower) Available from Aviattic for £12 each +P&P The last time I had the pleasure to review some Aviattic Decals, Aviattic has a new name in town. Now, Aviattic is a well-know manufacture with firmly credits on WWI modelling world in the decals business, specially for WnW model kits. Now a day, Aviattic do not serve only WnW model with 1:32 lozenge. Now they do have something for braille scale modelers. The decals as usual, came in a large zip -log bag (size A4) along with application instructions. The decal application hints and tips are clear, precise and very useful that must be on your side when you apply the decals! On this review, we will take a brief look to the new 1:72 5 color night lozenge. I can´t say how happy that I`m with this release, because being myself a Large Scale Modeler, I also have a 1:72 beast, a Zeppelin Staaken and I was not very happy with Roden decals. So Aviattic comes to the rescue with these ones. The items that are part of this review are: ATT72013 - Full pattern width for upper surfaces; ATT72014 - Full pattern width for lower surfaces; ATT72015 – Joined for upper flying surfaces; ATT72016 - Joined for lower flying surfaces ATT72017 – Full pattern width for upper and lower surfaces; All that we need to cover up the Staaken. The lozenge color look perfect, and the fabric texture effect is simply amazing and truly realistic. These sheets simulating 5 colour "night" pattern top and bottom, upper and lower bolts - the same again but on white decal paper for slicing into ribtapes and then upper and lower "joined" for wing sections. The lower set for rib tapes may not be necessary if use the upper for both surfaces, which looks good, at least for me. They all have subtle but noticeable different color lozenges. Decals are translucent, which compel apply a primer light color ( white, light gray), and gloss varnished surface. Then a careful thought and application of pre –shading can be essential for achieved a range of colors important to give an even more realistic. The general looks of the decals is outstanding… The color, the texture and the geometry are outstanding. All decals are laser printed onto high quality decal sheet from extremely high resolution computer generated graphics CONCLUSION: Hey, ok… You can think that that is all fantastic but we can always the Roden decals that are in the box… Well, yes you can but take a close look at Roden decals, just side by side with Aviattic decals. (my decals sheets turn like that in time… probably my fault – so the kit decals always had to go) A image worth more than a 1000 words. Sum up… Ten thumbs up!! Perfect math, perfect register, perfect fabric texture effect, perfect colors…. PERFECT is the word! Very High Recommend Our truly and sincere thanks to Richard from Aviattic for the review samples sheets. To purchase, click here.

  20. 1:32 Fokker D. VII Empty AMMO Box MaDSaM Catalogue # 32PE001 Price tag: €11 or 12 $ plus shipping Order by email: auhlik@gmail.com Payment: Paypal only Photo-etched parts: 42 pieces One photo-etched sheet The modelling world since 2009, have seen some quite a revolution on WWI theme. It`s really almost a industrial revolution indeed, because every single year we see lots of news aftermarkets items for WnW models that comes from well know manufactures or brand new ones. MaDSaM is simply a brand new manufacture, one (or two) modelers… It`s “one man show” that release a very curious upgrader for all the WnW Fokker D.VII An empty ammo box. All Wnw Fokker comes with a ammo box with full ammunition belts. So f you want to put it empty, (with a mechanic putting the ammo belts) lots of works is necessary to remove the belt and to turn the ammo box thinner to represent it at scale thickness. The set is packaged in a slim, re-selable small wallet with a semi-rigid card insert, to prevent bending. Also a sheet of folded instructions are included to the rear. In a first look is quite a simple set, that will stand out your Fokker among the others. This set contains a single, bare brass fret with around 42 parts, all neatly manufactured. It´s a simple set with simple construction, that it`s easy to achieved just following the instructions that are quite good and comprehensive and quite easy to follow. I think that the WnW modeler will understand perfectally. The set design allows the modeler to make all 3 variants of the ammo box: high, medium or low. So this set can be use in any WnW Fokker D.VII and it just give it a different look or just essential to a small diorama. See a full build ammo box (courtesy from Alexandr Uhlik one of the man behind MaDSaM) CONCLUSION: This little set is a perfect upgrade for your Fokker D.VII and its quite worthwhile so it give a little extra finesse and gives you extra detail (and mainly different detail with different ammo box. So, if you just want to enhance your Fokker or put it in a small dio with some ground crew taking care of your Fokker, this set is perfect for you. It`s a love project from Modelers to Modellers, so it’s a quite limited edition to only 15. Yep, that right, only 15 set are available for now. If everything goes well, a second bunch will be produce. Highly recommended Fran Guedes Our thanks to Alexandr Uhlik and MaDSaM for the review samples and the trust given in such a small production. To purchase send a message to email directly to auhlik@gmail.com
