  1. Are they not a bit old skool compared to Apache ? Basic ground pounders ? Or will the US not let them have that tech ? Confess- I don't know anything about these aircraft other than they are Vietanm era stuff
  2. Talking of squizzers , this is one of our regulars coming for the peanut feeder outside the bedroom window this morning . This is how I start my day , coffee and a squirrel show.
  3. Less done that I had hoped for . DIY seatbelts , filling wing seams , loading nose weight . Need to finish turret and then the fuse will close up . #gettingthere . Decal for IP did not match the IP so left it out. Hate seats....one of the few things I often splash put on resin for . Most ofthis won't be seen so not loosing sleep
  4. "minger" .....🤣 That may also need an off shore translation ! I like the old Devastator and on that list is probably the only 1/32 I'd consider buying this year as I tend not to build many large planes because of the space they take up. Something great about those early yellow wing aircraft . Meteor maybe ....but don't think any Revell offering will live up to it's £125 price tag sadly . AK are bringing out a 1/35 SII Land Rover , might be tempted by that . Gecko are doing a 1/35 Ram Kangaroo which could make for some interesting dios.
  5. Yup - Carl ....he now has to fight two cats for the warm seat.🤣
  6. Filtered out all the dodgy Prince Andrew ones....
  7. All the bad coronation memes arriving here
  8. Lived near Holmfirth 15 years ago , BBMF Lanc used to fly up the valley , over Ladybower Res and then turn right for Scamptom . My guess the guy piloting it was haiving the day of his life, and why not ?
  9. Thanks for taking the time for such a deep dive on the model . It looks a big aircraft for sure, and I'm not sure I'd ever get the urge to build it . My observation is that the canopy look a bit thick ?, is this the case or just the light on the photo ?
  10. Just use the ignore button to filter out comments from people you think are throbbers ?
  11. Some nice people there as well who I still miss , and some very talented folk too . The treatment of Maru, and the apparent indifference of the owners regarding all that, was what made me decide not to support them anymore. Clearly DGAF . A sad end after being there for 12 years on and off . It's "only plastic toy aircraft FFS ".....ain't that the truth .
  12. In the UK FEDEX pay the highest rates per drop ( did in 2017) , and therefore get the best drivers ....Herpes ...sorry now EVRI pay the lowest . Go figure.
  13. FYI I don't buy bought in washes - always use oils just the way I was raised I guess.😁 I can make just what I want in small amounts . Most washes are burnt umber and or black . Pin washes I make up a variety of colours out of a small Daley and Rowney oil paint set I bought a while ago . If that peaks interest I can 100% recommend watching Evan Panzermeister36 , young but talented I use general purpose turps / white spirit , I'm not bothered by the smell . This liquin is thick - it's a medium , just using it for it's properties to make a better wash . I was thinned down with turpz . I tried 'wet on wet' with a prewash of turps but it was drying too quick , hence the wash is a bit heavy. First time out using it .
  14. When collecting failed deliveries from Royal Fails depot in the UK (open 2 hours a day only now...I ofter ask , which bit of my address ..... "Guy *** , Please leave in black box , etc " ............they struggled to comprehend. And its a big box next to the front door.
