  1. I cleaned up all the parts ( as said more than the total of parts that comprise the engine alone!) and started painting the cowling / aluminum parts. Swirls!! All this will be covered up and partly brought back with the hairspray technique.
  2. Very nice review and very special figures. Nice one.
  3. Real real nice. Is that the Vector detail set you used to open the gun bay?
  4. Thnx for sharing! What was up with the short shot? Is that a common flaw with this kit?
  5. The Attacker is one plane I'd love to build. How cool would it look next to the Meteor??? Can't wait to see some progress pics on that...
  6. Aaaaah.... you've opened the box. So now you're hooked! Great upgrades you've got there. I'm sure this will be good. Will u be going to the Flanders show next weekend? Cheers, Jeroen
  7. That looks great. Nice and worn. You sure know how to make an entrance. For someone that only just came back to the hobby you sure know your materials. Groet, Jeroen
  8. Let me tell you: you wasted some valuable time with lurking by the look of things since it looks like you've got this modeling thing down! Really nice start. I'd love to tackle a TBM one day. Huge kit...
  9. Wow! Well you know I just love this build of yours. Really lovely finish. AND! I just love the photo of your cat walking on front legs!!
  10. Ooohh..... wow... You don't see this often. Really nice. And man.. what a relief to see a non-chipped japanese plane for a change!!!!! Great work.
  11. Danny! How are you? Finally finished work on the house and found your way back to the bench? Great subject, model and AM sets... Following this!

  15. Hi guys, Here are some up close and personal shots of the Gloster Meteor Mk.8 as can be seen at the Aviodrome Museum in the Netherlands. A place taken over by screaming kids, but this allows one to crawl under the planes to take photo's for you guys, since the guards are too busy minding the kids. So here goes: Not the missing wooden flanges on the engine intakes: Airbrakes: Fuselage: Gear: Nose wheel well: And this is about where the battery of my phone died...
  16. Thnx Rick! I uploaded the finished build here: http://forum.largescalemodeller.com/topic/2267-fokker-dvii-fok-jasta-18-hans-schultz/
  17. Thnx guys, Much appreciated. I did make some pretty dumb mistakes though and was glad to be able to fix them. If I build another (i mean when) I'll make sure not to make them again. Cheers, Jeroen
  18. Hi Guys, Here's my latest Wingnutter. Took me some time, mainly caused by stupid mistakes I made during construction. I added: • HGW full detail set • Bob's Buckles • Gaspatch turnbuckles • Old Propellor Lozenge • Doug Craner Wooden prop • One Steven Robson spoked wheel • EZ line • Radio Radiotor Mesh • Gaspatch Anemometer Construction can be found here: http://forum.largescalemodeller.com/topic/1225-wnw-fokker-dvii-fok/ Special thanks to James for kicking my ass into gear every single day Together with a piece of fabric from a Fokker DVII that flew in the movie Hell's Angels (Thanks Cees!!) Cheers, Jeroen
