  1. That is lovely Dave! Thinking of starting mine soon.
  2. Some progress. Fit is pretty decent so far. Adding some more PE for the bomb aimer: here’s the wings dry fitted: the place i’m pointing at is where my house is today. The crash site is smack in the middle of the base.
  3. What a supercool build and conversion. Loving it!! and i know it’s not an easy kit to begin with...
  4. You can also clearly see the absence of the rocket engine. No guns, no engine. They did however add weights to simulate the balance.
  5. I made the same 'mistake' when building mine :))) You could imagine that right after the capture the MK108 guns and engine were still in place. They only took them out in order not to kill the pilot and perform glider tests to evaluate the aerodynamics.
  6. Hi Martin, thnx!! the video you post shows an early wimpy. This means the bombs are mustard yellow. My wimpy is late and had green bombs. A darker shade of green and shorter bomb tails.
  7. Exactly! If a 32 scale kit was available that would be a no brainer...
  8. It's here!! https://forum.largescalemodeller.com/forum/233-buy-sell-swap-seek/ Now go sell something!!
  9. Thnx Rob, the only reason i’m not cutting any corners here is that i pass the crash site and graves every day on my way to work. this is the god’s honest truth.
  10. Sneak peek! The black resin structure is the main wing spar from photo etch.
  11. I have one but always take it halfway spraying or sanding because it's uncomfortable..
  12. Always wondered how these kits build!. Looks great. What finish will you make it?
  13. Just talked to Jim. We’ll put up a traders board without rules. Let’s see how that goes! As soon as Jim had wifi on hid holiday adress he’ll set it up
  14. Really cool. Only just seeing this. That stressed skin really makes the difference...
  15. Hi Martin, I believe I know you from LSP? Welcome to LSM! Can't wait to see some of your builds here. Enjoy and feel at home! Cheers, Jeroen
