This will be my next project after setting the Corsair aside for a while. As you can see I had started the build a while back so now I'll pick it up where I left off. Should be a nice build using some Vector after market cowlings, etc.

I like it too Harv but I like the PV-2 Harpoon more. Too bad we don't have a kit in 1/48.

Some surgery is necessary to use the Vector cowlings but they will be a nice improvement. :)

For some strange reason I have one of these kits and the RAF version, I think they were a special offer job. So I will follow with interest

Seems to be a pretty nice kit which should go together with no headaches. Fingers crossed. :)

Good to see you back on this one. It's a beautiful plane and should look great in your skill full hands.

Nice work on the Vector Cowls ....

You're in high gear and no speed limits on your 'build road'

Keep 'em comin

Peter

They should vastly improve the looks of the model. :)

Me too John! Will follow this one closely

Seems to be a very straight forward kit with things fitting well (so far). Looks like it won't take a long time to get it built and painted. I look forward to the painting on this one in the 3-tone scheme. :)

Love the scheme you are planning on doing. And of course, your "it won't take a long time to get it built and painted" doesn't apply to us mere mortal builders :construction:

About ready to attach the engines and nacelles. First I'll shoot a primer and see if any more work is needed.

Nice progress - the engines look so good and knowing you, all will fit like a glove

After shooting some gray primer I found a few areas that need a bit more attention. I did test fit the engines and cowlings and the fit seems okay. I have to credit that to Vector's good work. :) I should have the engines and cowlings installed soon.
