I should have hired you you to be charge of my reno crew - we would have been done by now but unfortunately a good ways still to go. Hoping to be done in a about four to six weeks and then by then, I'm willing to bet, you'll have modeled almost all the Racer in the Draw Decal Line. Too bad this Trumpeter kit isn't of Tamiya quality but it is what it is. I'll get all the needed mods done and proceed with the build. JohnB Posted February 9, 2022 Author Share Posted February 9, 2022 This particular P-51 had the dorsal fin which is a little unusual for the B/C birds. I have some resin conversion rear fuselage parts with the dorsal fin but, instead of trying to splice the whole rear end, I decided to remove the required part from one of the pieces and graft it on to the kit rear end.
