GazzaS Posted August 24, 2023 Posted August 24, 2023 At the Australian Armor and Artillery Museum for the next couple days. Only had time for a quick walkthrough and one photo. Some ugly dude stepped in front of me just as I clicked the button. 2 9

Peterpools Posted August 26, 2023 Posted August 26, 2023 Gaz Great looking museum ... enjoy the visit and walk through history. Always a boatload of inspiration to be found. 3
GazzaS Posted August 28, 2023 Author Posted August 28, 2023 Thanks for the great wishes. I'm safely back home now and have processed a few photos. There was a lot to see, and they weren't bothered if you touched stuff. Of course, they didn't want you climbing up and into everything... some of their exhibits are totally unique. Some of this pics are a bit rough and I explain that there were some rainy periods, and at some other times, the air was thick with exhaust smoke. It was a great time. 6
BlrwestSiR Posted August 28, 2023 Posted August 28, 2023 Great photos Gary. Did you get the chance to ride in any of the tanks? 1
belugawhaleman Posted August 28, 2023 Posted August 28, 2023 Thanks for the pics! Gotta love the little Hetzer suprised to see the T-26 in German Markings.....Both would make great subjects for a Takom big-scale small tank! I see Takom has a host of Hetzers in 1/35.....with interiors no less, including a soon to be released Swiss G-13 version. 1

Those markings on the T-26... were the original German markings discovered during the restoration process. 3
