If you are casually looking in a cabinet you probably not even notice John.:unworthy:

I hope to get it a little better than that Kevin. Right now I know it still has some "issues" but I plan to address those shortly.

Wings and fuselage joined together. Next is filling in those gaps on the roots and fuselage side.

Good mork John šŸ‘ !

The scratchbuilt one is slightly more pointy, but thatā€™s barely noticeable.

Hubert

Thanks Hubert. Yep, I knew that but decided to let that sleeping dog lie! LOL I can live with it. šŸ™‚

Thanks Martin. It's a new "adventure" for sure and one I'm enjoying.

Certainly an ambitious project!

Agreed Paul. I wasn't sure how well it would go when I started it but I'm pleased that it has come along okay (so far).šŸ™‚

John

I'm just blown away and I never thought anything like this was possible, but you proved me wrong. Looking so good, just brilliant work.

:construction:

Ā

Thank you Peter. Neither had I but decided to give it a try since it looked like I had enough parts to do it. šŸ™‚

Yes indeed Martin. I see the wheel covers had stars. They aren't included on the decal sheet so I'll have to look through my decal stash to see if I can come up with some. šŸ™‚

The painting, with Xtracolor, is done so now it's time for some decals. Then it'll be over sprayed with clear flat and some exhaust stains, etc.

I am liking that John.;)

Me too Kevin. I added the "eyes" and the rest of the teeth decals so now it's time for some clear flat over spray. As usual I'll use Alclad clear flat. I hope to be finished or close to it tomorrow some time.

This is ever so good, proper modelling, looking at the first photo you would never have believed how good it would turn out.

Cheers

Certainly doesn't look like a Frankenstein to me. Great job there John.Ā

Thanks Carl. When I started this I didn't know for sure I had all the needed parts. Except for that LG/wing piece everything was there surprisingly. šŸ™‚

Thanks Dennis. I'm a bit surprised it came together as well as it did. I intend to finish it today. šŸ™‚
