Administrators Fran Posted February 22 Author Administrators Posted February 22 This year, around the end of March, we will have a 1:32 PZL-23 Karas! Lets hope for high printing quality (I really hope that it would be better that Jetmad) According with Crazy Cat 3D (brand name of the manuacture) it will cost 150€ (with shipping) 7
belugawhaleman Posted February 22 Posted February 22 I like subjects that are off the beaten track. The Pzl-23 certainly fits the bill. Love it! Lots of details, rivets guns and stuff! 2

ScottsGT Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Yea, saw that this am on TOS. I’m about to start pulling kits I know I’ll never get to and have a fire sale to justify this. I’m getting the launch rail as well. So far I’ve got about a half dozen kits in mind to finally let go. Most are 1/48, but really big 1/48. Also have a few helicopters since I was on a helicopter kick years back. Funny how I never finished one. But I’ll be listing them as I acquire shipping boxes for each. Not gonna be that guy that sells something online then tells the buyer I’ll ship it when I can find a box. EDIT: Forgot to mention. This IS my grail kit. 5
belugawhaleman Posted March 11 Posted March 11 I'd love to get this but I also have too many kits and it being resin and probably expensive I'll have to pass. I Think I Love Kit recently released a duck in 1/48 I might go for that one..... I really like to see this kit built.by a talented forum member. I'm curious as hell to find out how it will build up😀 1
TJTX Posted March 11 Posted March 11 I know these are 3d printed. Are the resin or some form of plastic? 1
HubertB Posted March 11 Posted March 11 28 minutes ago, TJTX said: I know these are 3d printed. Are the resin or some form of plastic? You have a lot of different resins used for 3D-printing. Some are said to be « ABS-like », although they are most likely not ABS. CERTAINLY NOT polystyrene anyway. You must use CA or epoxy to assemble them. Hubert 3
CANicoll Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Forgive me, but on the Karas, those panel lines look HUGE to me? The Duck looks terrific with an interior that would be a shame to close up. 1
mark31 Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Wooow that Duck. Maybe ask the wife she will give me this for my B-day later this month 🤣 Mark 1

Administrators Fran Posted March 17 Author Administrators Posted March 17 And bang!! A brand new 1:32 Hawker Hurricane!! KOTARE! 9
TJTX Posted March 17 Posted March 17 Heck yeah! I was "this" close to grabbing a Revell one. So glad I waited!!! 2
Spitfire Posted March 17 Posted March 17 Great news, with the new Revell Sea Hurricane this will be a must have for me in 2025, a metal winged Mk.I to go with my PCM fabric wing Mk.I. Cheers Dennis 2
HubertB Posted March 17 Posted March 17 Happy for you guys. As far as I am concerned, Lukgraph and the pending releaase of the Draken by Jetmads have made my year ... Hubert 4
Count0 Posted March 17 Posted March 17 11 hours ago, Spitfire said: a metal winged Mk.I It's not a metal wing. Early, fabric. Otherwise they would not be offering the two blade prop and all the other early items. The pattern that they are establishing with their Spits would suggest that they will use this as a jumping off point for a metal wing version in the future. 4
Count0 Posted March 17 Posted March 17 Kotare Hurricane MK 1 options as listed on their page The optional parts include: - Two & three blade propellers, - Three styles of exhaust manifold, - Two styles of undercarriage doors, - Unarmoured and armoured windscreens, - Ring & bead and reflector gunsights, - Pilot’s seat with & without safety harness detail & armour plating, - Two styles of wing join fairings, - Short and tall rudders and tailwheel fairings. 5 1
Spitfire Posted March 18 Posted March 18 Having recently built the PCM Fabric wing Hurricane I can thoroughly recommend the Wingleader Photo Archive Number 3, Hawker Hurricane Mk.I in RAF service NW Europe 1935 to the Battle of Britain. It's probably the only reference that you will need for early Hurricanes. Cheers Dennis 3

Now ... to give it something to shoot at ... how about a Do-17z ... or a Ju-87B One we don't have at all and the other not a modern tooled accurate one. Rog 3

But a metal wing Hurricane is almost surely the next thing. They will follow the Spitfire plan and milk those molds for all they are worth. And / or a backdate of the K-4 into a late asymmetric cowling G 2
