They sold oou and were never able to get them back in stock for some reason. So I saw the Spitfire in this year's sale, got them to credit me for the F-14s and it arrived today. Still have a small balance leftover so I'll look into some AM. Nice! I might get one of those after I finish making 50 or so kits🤔 1

HubertB Posted July 3 Posted July 3 Got mine yesterday ! Now to finish the Cutlass to clear the bench for this one… Leaving on Sunday for a 12-days trip to France, so it’s probably another 3 weeks before I can get started. And to reopen my books to see what is needed to convert this one to a -4, with yellow wings. Hubert 6
Martinnfb Posted July 3 Posted July 3 Nice, yellow wing and bright shiny surface will definitely bring the shapes out. Looking forward to it Hubert. Have a safe and pleasant trip to the old country. Cheers Martin 2 1

Spitfire Posted July 4 Posted July 4 The postlady delivered my first order of Sovereign Colourcoat paints from the new owner of the brand, Resolution Hobbies and I have just filled in my second order to fill the gaps in my paint lockers. https://resolutionhobbies.com/ Cheers Dennis 2
belugawhaleman Posted July 5 Posted July 5 Got some stuff..... Well, I've been looking for this one.......Always finding it "not in stock" , in 1/72 scale, in Ukraine, or in Australia. Imagine my surprise when I found it on Ebay, in the USA, and in Deerfield Illinois......just 30 minutes from me!😀 It's Clear Prop's Gloster Pioneer E28/39 in 1/48 scale (CP4823). Always was interested in this aircraft! Wish It was in 1/32......but what the hell Found some aftermarket for this kit; from KELIK Scale Models, a set of 3d printed decals for the interior (RESK48110K) They look pretty good, I think. Also, from Eduard, A set of a set of Photoetch for the Tamiya Brewster Buffalo in 1/48 (EDUFE279). The set I bought earlier had some broken parts I discovered. Last, a set of canopy masks for Fine Molds MX7/k Ohka kit in 1/48 from Dead Design Models. (VM48 O43). I have the trainer version of the Ohka, which is a somewhat less Horrible thing Looks like a decent model😀 I think the 3d print looks ok Definitely a milestone aircraft 😀 6 2
Spitfire Posted July 6 Posted July 6 Yes, a real milestone aircraft, I would love a 1/32 scale kit of one. Cheers Dennis 2

MikeCharlie Posted Tuesday at 06:03 AM Posted Tuesday at 06:03 AM Just been away for a few days in the Channel Islands, and apart from some nice walking and visiting relatives, I found that modern-day rarity, a real life model/hobby shop. And in that shop I found one thing I did not expect to find: one of the Revell glider series at under a tenner! Yes, really. And it's an LSP that is small enough to fit in my small hold bag, so it just had to be bought, it would have been rude not to. 5

denders Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Well, I haven't built anything armor related since I was a teenager. I don't remember exactly what that was, I think it was either a US Halftrack or an M109 Howitzer. So, I've had the itch, but it had to be something I felt like building. I actually won a Russian tank in the raffle at Chattanooga but after talking with someone who had just won some Russian figures, I donated that kit to him. Sorry, I was not into building that kit. Last week SB had some 'Damaged Box' kits on sale, so I bought this kit. And, how fitting, it went from SB in the Kansas City area to Chicago to Dallas to Nashville and then to the local PO for delivery. It normally takes a rather direct path. And since the kit was a damaged box kit, why not add a little. Now to figure out which Olive Drab in the MRP line looks best. 6

Oddly, for all the Sherman's I've built (about a half dozen) I've yet to do an American one. 3
