I nearly came away with a Revell 1/32 Tornado GR1!!!!! and I am still fighting the urge, ooh help.

That's okay I just bought a Revell 4849 1/32 BAe Hawk T.1 RAF Kit on eBay for $25.40!! Flory Models in the UK reviewed it and said its a must have kit. Beautiful build straight out of the box!! So if the said I must have then it was okay, lol!!

Arrived at Hobbytown USA to find both Tamiya pastels I was looking for plus my wife supplied me with some pastel pencils.

Looking forward to adding this skill level to my list of modeling abilities :-)

My Tamiya 1/35 scale German Panther Tank finally arrived. I'm building it and a 1/32 scale P38J Lockheed Lightning for LSM's Beaches to Berlin group build.
This will be my first armor build so looking forward to learning a whole new set of modeling skills.
Should be great fun!!

Ralph, I think that Panther may just kindle a love for armor.......

I've heard fantastic things about it. I understand its a great introduction kit into the wonderful world of armor modeling :-)

I look forward to building it.

I think I mentioned this, but it was my first non-snap together kit , back when Tamiya released it in the 80s. Such a fantastic build right out of the box!

I think I may start it next before the P38J since I have time. I did some research today and posted that on my Facebook group, link below!

Looked for some color schemes but kind of like the box art!

Dang! When you go shopping you go shopping.

That's what I call a shopping spree. :D

Nice !  That'd take a while loading up the car then !

lol thanks very much fellas :) ... though to be fair, this was all done over the period of a month or two ... unlike some of the purchases last year (15 kits inside a couple of weeks - done several times!) ...

There are still a few kits I am chasing ... not the least of which is the ZM Fw190 series when they make their auspicious appearance!!

And I am desperately hoping Classic Publications re-release the Ju-88 Vol.1 book!!! ...

For my birthday I just got the new Eduard Gustav, the Hasegawe Friedrich (trop) in 1:32, and a biography of Hans-Joachim Marseille.

Couldn't be happier!

Well I should start thinking about getting an airbrush and compressor. But... the wife... :-/
