RalphSarc Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 I nearly came away with a Revell 1/32 Tornado GR1!!!!! and I am still fighting the urge, ooh help. That's okay I just bought a Revell 4849 1/32 BAe Hawk T.1 RAF Kit on eBay for $25.40!! Flory Models in the UK reviewed it and said its a must have kit. Beautiful build straight out of the box!! So if the said I must have then it was okay, lol!!

lawman56 Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 I think I mentioned this, but it was my first non-snap together kit , back when Tamiya released it in the 80s. Such a fantastic build right out of the box! 1

Such a fantastic build right out of tI thin I think I may start it next before the P38J since I have time. I did some research today and posted that on my Facebook group, link below! Looked for some color schemes but kind of like the box art! 1
Artful69 Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 An update on collecting some new items on my return from holiday in Manila ... 1st up a great new read ... Next ... a couple of references familiar to most of you ... and I agree with many reviews - very nice!! I had purchased this, the second of my ZM Ta152's in original boxing, before I left for Manila ... I had it delivered to a friend in case it arrived while I was away ... And lastly ... these arrived at the post office for collection today ... supplied by my usual UK contact ... Rog 3
Artful69 Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 Dang! When you go shopping you go shopping. That's what I call a shopping spree. Nice ! That'd take a while loading up the car then ! lol thanks very much fellas ... though to be fair, this was all done over the period of a month or two ... unlike some of the purchases last year (15 kits inside a couple of weeks - done several times!) ... There are still a few kits I am chasing ... not the least of which is the ZM Fw190 series when they make their auspicious appearance!! And I am desperately hoping Classic Publications re-release the Ju-88 Vol.1 book!!! ... Rog
Reelo Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 For my birthday I just got the new Eduard Gustav, the Hasegawe Friedrich (trop) in 1:32, and a biography of Hans-Joachim Marseille. Couldn't be happier! Well I should start thinking about getting an airbrush and compressor. But... the wife... :-/
Artful69 Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 Rog, You really need to have your own topic. Cees ha ha ha!!! ... or my own shop front!! - the back room has a whole wall of kits - floor to ceiling Rog 1
