Administrators James H Posted March 22, 2015 Administrators Posted March 22, 2015 Hi folks, I've kept this one pretty much away from LSM simply because of the limited time I've had to build this for publication. From start to finish, this was built over 3 weeks, with only about 2 weeks of that really being used. This is a test-shot of the forthcoming 1:32 Focke-Wulf Fw 190F-8, from Revell, finished in kit decals. Watch out for this next month in Tamiya Model Magazine International. 10
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted March 22, 2015 Administrators Posted March 22, 2015 Where did that come from! Noise!!

rkranias Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 great finish, great scheme! an exemplary effort. You are on a roll my friend with these exception builds and most compressed bench time.
rieser Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 Great finish. So many terrific schemes for the F-8/9's too.
Wingco57 Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 Got a fw190 seatback at the museum, it is made from armoured steel, so do not thin the edges while building it. Very nice build, as usual Jimbo. Cheers Cees
ophthoidoug Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Nice clean lines & perfect finish - thanks for posting. Hopefully the Gods of plastic will dictate that Eduard put out a resin "brassin" engine, gun, panel & firewall set (as they did for the new Revell 109). Seems Aires never did in 1/32... I'm surprised that there's been so little aftermarket "engine stuff" available (the limited Verlinden set comes to mind) in this scale for what must surely be one of the most popular subjects of all time? Will lookout for the full build article.
ophthoidoug Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 As a follow-up to my last comment, I see that ZM are in the early stages of a 1/32 FW190 (see their "Old Man Blog" # 56). Doubtless, it'll include a full engine. Just like my hopes of a 1/32 Do335 - it never rains then it pours :-)
Marcel du Long Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 Looking good! You like building for articles? Did some articles but I prefer "free" building without any pressure. Still very nice for a 3 weeks build!
Miracle Paint Masks Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Very nice Jim, I have one of these on order I am currently building the Hasegawa A-5 and this looks to be a better kit, certainly fit wise!
