Thanks for sharing it was a great show this year. Talked to and met loads of people. Spent too much and asked airfix an awkward question or two. Like can you guarantee tamiya quality for tamiya price?

On a lighter note the Hellcat looks awesome as does the ZM HS129 I didn't see the 0/400. I must be the only one but I wasn't that impressed by the oilcanning on the WNW lanc it looks a tad overdone to me

My first reaction to the 1/24 F6F was "Too big, I just don't have room for it". After seeing the photos I think I'll have to "bite the bullet" and build one. Really looks outstanding. But, where to put it??? :)

No doubt it can be a really outstanding model. I just wish it was 1/32. However, I will not pass it up. It just looks TOO good! :) Any idea as to what the price will be?

In the UK RRP is £119.00 for my money there had better not be any moulding foul ups at that price.

Well it seems the new WnW will be the HP 0/400 ... We have a collective thank you to adress to Cees for starting and reviving  his scratchbuilt kit ... What’s your next scratch project, Cees ? Can we steer you in the right direction ? I, for one, would love you to start a B-58 :D

Hubert

Yes, Cees, THANK YOU!!!

Now of course, Cees if we could convince you to start a B-58, we would be oh so in your debt. Then I, of course, with get cracking on my C-46 as well.

My pleasure, as you noticed it took a while before WNW answered my pleas:D

I am taking orders so that I can break out the plasticard and evergreen strips for the next one.......

Seriously, I am very grateful to WNW, the model looked fabulous and better than anything I could build.

Bring it on I would say.

And my poor old HP 0/400? That will sit next the WNW model in the future.

Hoooooezooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!

Please don't feel discouraged Cees, finish your version of the Handley Page, maybe give it some kind of twist?

Very nice talking to you, btw, lets keep in contact :)

:omg: :omg: :omg:

A 1/24th scale F6F. I’m in and it’s a bench clearing project for me. Looks to be a gem just like Airfix’s Tiffy

The Hellcat is a game changer for me and no question I’m in for more then one.

Thank You Airfix

Guys

I grew up in the 1950's and 1960's half way between Grumman's (Bethpage) and Repiublic's (Farmingdale) and have more then a soft spot for anything with wings that came off of their production lines, not to mention I'm a Hellcat fan.

I'll be leading the charge when the Big Hellcat it's the shelves.
