Santa hooked me up with the new airbrush I've been wanting and a new airbrush stand.

Mike you will love that AB! I got one at the beginning of the and it's the Bees' Knees! It's so good that I convinced Fran to get one too.

Word of warning... The .15 needle is fragile and the nozzle is made of cheese! I already need a replacement.

Well, Xmas was pretty quite this year, as the kids are starting new schools this year and they required laptops for school. So the only thing I got was Battlefield V for the Xbox. Thou I did have x2 1/32 F4U-1D turn up from Luckymodel's last sale with $2.00 shipping. I forgot that I ordered it and it arrived on Xmas eve so it was perfect timing!

I did have a little bit of money left over from the Telford trip, so I treated myself to a Meng Jagdpather :)

I think that's the one I picked up. The guy's name is Espen and he's in Norway. It took 10 days to get here after I paid for the order so arrived yesterday afternoon.

If you get one of the first 94 sets made, he's including decals for ones seen in the Battle of Britain film.

That's right, that's the finished product! As the initial designer of the kit (SBS Hungary made into a resin-castable kit) I am of course biased, but I am being truthful when I say this is the crispest resin kit I've ever seen! Some of the detail is so delicate, I needed a magnifying glass to fully appreciate it. If you want an accurate Buchon in 1/32, this is the only serious option. Go for it! :)

Well, Harv sent me the one kit I had really wanted but never got.

I love it and what an awesome surprise.  Left me speechless.

Thanks, buddy!

Its going to be a real challenge. Not much surface detail, no rivets at all. When Martin tried adding rivets to a LEM kit, he discovered many little air pockets beneath the surface. Fun. So, Archer transfers perhaps?

Stay tuned, Sports Fans, stay tuned.

Ooooh Martin, that’s just mean. :)

The P-59 was a pretty pathetic jet fighter,  but it was the first in the USA so we give them space.

I know, I picked it up from Smuthy . P-59 had very nice sleek lines, not as sleek as Schwalbe but better looking that Meteor.

Few things look worse than the Meteor...  Maybe the Fairey Gannet...
