BlrwestSiR Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 That looks fantastic. And fast too! Carl 3 1
DocRob Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 Great job Martin the tiny BTR looks amazing. Let us now about the results of the competition. Cheers Rob 1 1
HubertB Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 Nice job, Martin. A pity the chosen scheme was one of a Russian invader. Hubert 1 1
Martinnfb Posted October 4, 2022 Author Posted October 4, 2022 Thank you gentlemen, it was fun build. I will post more pictures in the RFI section. I don’t take it as a competition, more of a buddy build. One of the guys involved is Mike Grant , so you can imagine his rendition:). yeah, I couldn’t choose the scheme, it was chosen by draw. 6
Peterpools Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 martin Looking mighty good - what a terrific idea and in your hands -simply stellar . 2

Well understood, Martin. Still, that this scheme was included in the draw is a real lack of political sensivity. Mind you, I was reading that Reedoak has never sold more Russian pilot figures than in the last 6 months … Hubert 3 2
Martinnfb Posted October 4, 2022 Author Posted October 4, 2022 I see what you’re saying Hubert, frankly we like to build as it is in real life. Political correctness doesn’t apply here, those five guys although Canadians are of Scottish, British, Slovak, French and Russian descend . We build for fun and tease each other along the way. No hurt feelings just good times with our hobby. As soon as everyone’s finish , I’ll take a group photograph. 4
BlrwestSiR Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 Since I forgot to follow the instructions, I somehow ended up with the wings attached to the cockpit... Just kidding. They're not glued yet. 2 5

BlrwestSiR Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 Looks like someone felt they were being ignored. So a slight pause from my 109 build as I give someone a scratch behind the ears... 9
BlrwestSiR Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 And our other cat didn't want to be left out. At least she's not on the bench... 7
GusMac Posted October 9, 2022 Posted October 9, 2022 Made a start on the next project. Trumpeter P-47D do try a 'proper' NMF. It's a kit that has flaws but having built it before I'll hopefully avoid the worst pitfalls this time. 8 1
GusMac Posted October 9, 2022 Posted October 9, 2022 Thanks Harv. First time I've tried wiring a radial - definitely a job for steady hands. 6
Peterpools Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 Gus Nice start on the Jug and looking forward to following your progress. The front office looks mighty good. 5
Bomber_County Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 Good start Gus, yet to build a big 47, be watching with interest. On holiday this week so trying to get some bench time….. 5
Bomber_County Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 With the F4F-3 and the Flammpanzerwagen in the booth and taking some holiday, just wrapping the Tamiya Pz III L up. Next in the booth…… 9 1
