ScottsGT
I’d eat that! Of course it’s a short list of stuff I wouldn’t eat. 2

ScottsGT
Depends on the condiments. An old Revell would probably be a little stale though. I’ll take a fresh Trumpeter any day of the week. Toasted lightly. 1
Martinnfb
Stay away from Trumpeter. Highly indigestible material. Despite the necessity of a high level of condiments, Revell stays the first choice of many dedicated culinary establishments, Revell all the way.
ScottsGT
Yea, I guess you’re right. Eat the Trumpeter and you would be hungry again an hour later.

I would be in, as I have the same kit, but seemingly different plans with it. Mine will be a hillclimber with this KMP conversion. She dislikes modeling, but I guess, she would be good at it as an engineer with good hands and ideas. Luckily my wife accepts, that modeling to me is an important hobby, but that´s about it. I will start the hillclimber Fiat 500 later, I don´t even possess the conversion kit as of now, only the base kit and my soon to build schedule is already completely booked out . belugawhaleman
Items on the bench...... Still working on the Friuls for my JSU-152. Got one side done and almost done with the other. I found that my Dspiae rotary tool really speeds up drilling the track pin holes. Also been working on the T 55a....Got the painting done. I will have to build a set of Friul tracks for this one too.

Nice progress on the T55, as I'm in the very' light weathering group' of builders and so greatly appreciate armor builds where the kit isn't hidden under a 'ton' of weathering. 3

Thanks I did a pinwash to highlight the details on the turret especially on the welds. This isn't seen in my pics. The mantlet cover was initially painted khaki, but this looked too stark, so I used brown pinwash on it then used a AK green weathering pencil with water to make it look like the Fabric used on the mantlet covers of these tanks.

belugawhaleman
Well, got the tracks (friuls) on my JSU-152. Painted in Tamiya gunmetal for now...I'll later give a light dust or dirt wash using AK weathering pencils.....but I just wanted to see them on the tank. Also, will start the Friulmodel tracks for my T 55a. I did this one as a Polish tank.. Painted the headlights silver with a clear UV resin overcoat. The tow cables were replaced by Eureka copper cables.

KevinM
She's coming out OK the idea with the different colors underneath was a Big Flop shades of black would be the answer but not from me mask from now on.Speaking of mask as fast as I paint a panel or area over the NM the Kuboki tape comes off the only section were the red is the tape stayed longer up came a little silver. You let it sit to long the adhesive starts to bite. The NM finish is like a B in my book grade wise but once the panel washes happen it may be Ok again.I still have to do invasion stripes on the bottom and the black up top wing/tail.
