And I still couldn't get the trailing edge to sit tight 🤔

I tend to tape those edges when I can, running the tape diagonal for the longest area to be held together.  But that is a huge wing.

Making a bit more progress on the Zaxis excavator. Everything has had a wash and flat coat and a bit of dry brushing where required. Next up is assembly and then weathering to get everything muddy and dusty which I'm planning to do with chalks as per the discussion in the GB thread.

The ejector pin marks in the bucket are a pain as I missed them completely but I'm hoping the weathering will hide them.

Most difficult bit I think is going to be trying to make the rubber band tracks look decent. Given the real machine actually comes with a rubber or steel tracks option, why Hasegawa decided to make their rubber band tracks resemble the steel tracks is one of the great mysteries of life!

@Jeff and I were chatting a couple nights ago and while we were, I started working on a simple Godzilla model. I managed to get it finished by the end of the conversation. Like I said, it was a simple kit.

Bag of parts, most didn't come on a sprue even.

And done.

Well, that led to me digging out another Godzilla model from the stash.

This one will need a bit more work.

The catio is all done now.

Nice Carl, never heard the term catio before, but it fits.
We got a cat in out garden regularly since some days. It is from neighbors, but seems to like our garden better. Since our dog has passed away in August, he´s taking over now.

Since I shut down the modeling bench to get projects done before my surgery, I’ve been going non stop.
Pressure washed the dock due to the flood.  This was not a planned project.  It had an 1/8”-1/4” of mud covering it.

Hung the new 65” on the wall.  Our son in law hung their TV over the stand and my wife liked the look of it.  Gee, thanks.

I got into the leaking truck axle and replaced the hub seal and of course had to do a brake job since they were oil soaked.

No pics, but also had the wife driving the zero turn around in case she has to take on mowing chores in the spring.

Oh, and yesterday was spent troubleshooting the gas logs where the pilot wouldn’t stay lit.  I completely disassembled them, drove over an hour to the gas supplier for them to tell me it was just dust clogging the flame port.  He blew it out with canned air and now they’re perfect.

Thanks Rob!

The neighbour's cat looks like our Sunny. He's an outdoor cat as well and has made friends with our neighbours as well.

WOW, looks simply amazing - sure wish I was that handy and skilled and unfortunately, I'm not and always have to hire a contractor.

Thanks Peter!

I always had an interest in woodworking since grade school so it was a fun project.

Electrical wiring on the other hand, can get intimidating fast for me. Especially once it's beyond a simple light fixture change.
