Thank you Peter, I just love my Xtracolor, it airbrushes nicely and you can skip the gloss coat for decals as well.

Cheers

Not on the bench, actually on the kitchen table, but this is the next project on the ramp.

After doing the Hasegawa excavator I decided to stick with the esoteric, so it's another item in my resin indoctrination courtesy of Ernie.

Looks like it should be a bit simpler than the Viggen. Need to do some research on colours, etc but hope to get started this week.

I did mine as Little Miss Mischief so it took slightly longer. They're fun kits.

Sue's cousin is visiting from Scotland so I thought I'd make a smoked brisket since that's not something that she would come across in Edinburgh.

Wow Carl, yummy. I love my Kamado as well, perfect for everything except Bronto Burger. I even cold smoke Tuna and Wahoo in there.

Cheers Rob

I'll post again later when it's done.

Keep it warm, I’m on my way over!

So far I’m 0 and 3 on trying to cook a proper brisket.  I’m always over cooking them for one reason or another. One time the batteries in my thermometer were dying and it was reading low.  Damned brisket came out like a shoe leather.
I need to go hang out with Ernie down in TX and get me a proper brisket education.

It should be done around 6 Pm EST so I think you've got enough time to grab a flight and arrive by then. ;)

I do them on our Big Green Egg. The thing holds a temp really well. I just got back from walking our dog for 1 1/2 hours and the needle hasn't budged from where I'd left it.

Looks good there Martin. The USAF paint scheme worked out nicely.

What is that Martin? Whatever it is, well done!

Paul, I think it's the Revell Arado Amerika bomber.

Indeed 1/72 Arado 555, a paper project. Building it for fun, covers and stabilizes are still not glued, antennas will go on it as well as the clear coat and she’s ready for some gnarly diorama.
