KevinM
That's a crazy looking paint scheme on that trim wheel but could see a pilot going there.

His new command is over these down in TX. He asked me to build him a model for his desk. This thing is so intricate and detailed, I’m not sure how I’m going to safely pack it for shipping.

Hemtt is definitely in my purchase list.

ScottsGT
1 hour ago, FullArmor said: How was this kit? Should i order it(truck only)? Only if you’re not affected by the “SQUIRREL!” syndrome. There are a hell of a lot of small parts and pieces that go together to build sub assemblies and even while building one must practice handling eggshells. I’m building in stages and painting and weathering as I go. If you try to assemble Lee then paint, it’s going to be extremely difficult. As an after thought, look into aftermarket resin tires for the kit. I went with the rubber tires and not only do they have an ugly seam around the tread that is hard to remove, but a few were deformed where they sit on the wheels.

Ok thanks for info.
BlrwestSiR
Arii makes a number of 1/32 car kits. They're fairly inexpensive (around $5 each) so I grabbed a couple to check out. They're simple but detailed enough. One big problem is they all include the same type of rubber tyre. Definitely not a modern size much less the right width. There way too narrow for the kit rims. So I found a more appropriate shape and our son Edward resized it and printed one out. This is much better. I'll probably knock one of these kits together just for fun.

Count0
Moving forward on the F. Found a split seam on the G, that now needs attention. F is the one going in the mail so I am focusing on it to get it done and in the box. 7
BlrwestSiR
Martin and I were discussing resin kits as I had sent him an Iconicair Seafang wrapped in a Lancaster for safe shipping. I then remembered I had the Halberd Seahawk and before I knew it... Anyways, I'll probably start a WIP as you don't see too many of these built.

It is indeed a lovely kit. But I have some SOD queens I need to take care of before I start a new kit. Tomorrow, I’ll post a WiP of a quicky project I’d like yo finish before the end of the year … Hubert
BlrwestSiR
Hubert, I think half my stash could technically qualify as my SoD. So many of the the kits are started in some random way and then put back. It took a real change in my approach to stop doing that.
