Depends on the condiments.  An old Revell would probably be a little stale though.   I’ll take a fresh Trumpeter any day of the week. Toasted lightly.

Stay away from Trumpeter. Highly indigestible material.  Despite the necessity of a high level of condiments, Revell stays the first choice of many dedicated culinary establishments, Revell all the way.

Yea, I guess you’re right.  Eat the Trumpeter and you would be hungry again an hour later.

I'll try to make sure I have some on hand in case either of you ever visit.

Small build which we started with my girlfriend. Let me know if you want new topic started with this kit.

I would be in, as I have the same kit, but seemingly different plans with it. Mine will be a hillclimber with this KMP conversion.

I will follow you and your girlfriends build closely, an interesting project, which would never work with my wife. She dislikes modeling, but I guess, she would be good at it as an engineer with good hands and ideas. Luckily my wife accepts, that modeling to me is an important hobby, but that´s about it.
I will start the hillclimber Fiat 500 later, I don´t even possess the conversion kit as of now, only the base kit and my soon to build schedule is already completely booked out :D.

Cheers Rob

Items on the bench......

Still working on the Friuls for my JSU-152. Got one side done and almost

done with the other. I found that my Dspiae rotary tool really speeds up

drilling the track pin holes. Also been working on the T 55a....Got the painting done. I will have to build a set of Friul tracks for this one too.

Nice progress on the T55, as I'm in the very' light weathering group' of builders and so greatly appreciate armor builds where the kit isn't hidden under a 'ton' of weathering.

Thanks

I did a pinwash to highlight the details on the turret especially on the welds.

This isn't seen in my pics. The mantlet cover was initially painted khaki, but

this looked too stark, so I used brown pinwash on it then used a AK green

weathering pencil with water to make it look like the Fabric used on the

mantlet covers of these tanks.
