Members Mikester
The Bf 109E situation is getting bad. Eduard has all of their's with the exception of one kit marked as "discontinued". Dragon seems to have taken a hiatus on 1/32 aircraft as well. Only source I can find is from China, over MSRP and expensive shipping. That leaves us with the Trumpeter kit which, really is a turd. Anyone have any insight on if Dragon planes to re-issue their Emil at any point?
smitty44
I have heard Eduard is reboxing the E-7 in Legion Condor faire
Martinnfb
I would expect Revell to re-box Dragon as it is in the case of 110.

Hopefully just a kit without all the non-model extras that drive the price up to $150.
smitty44
Fair amount of both Dragon and Eduard on evil bay, all boxings......or you can wait for the Tamiya Emil

Martinnfb
Dragon is a pretty god kit, way superior to the Eduard's offering. Having said that Eduard could be a great candidate for the AlleyCAt D1 conversion . And as Smitty said it is readily available on eBay . Needless to say, AML makes sweet little conversion set for a night fighter version
Wumm
It's like waiting for a Bus around here... Nothing for ages, then two Peil Gerats in a day!
BlrwestSiR
Funny enough, just picked up an Eduard E-4 Profipack today for 40 Loonies (about $30 USD). Saw it sitting there and decided the price was decent so I grabbed it. Carl

GazzaS
Can't do the Eduard kit....ever again. The shape behind the canopy is ruinous to my senses.
Martinnfb
I don't want to sound overly negative , but It is not just the shape of the fuselage, there are issues with radiator housings, propeller blades, cowling and the gear legs. I started the build and toss it after decent amount of work invested for a simple reason, Dragon came out with it's model.

And also why Dragon Emils are sold at MSRP or higher.
Administrators Clunkmeister Posted March 27, 2019 Administrators Share Posted March 27, 2019 I need at least another three Eduard E-1s. That’s the kit of choice for conversions, it seems, and I’ve got a few to do. Theyve all just dried up. Some guys must be sitting on thousands of these
