Michael Scott Posted September 4, 2019 Posted September 4, 2019 Folks? Thank you for allowing me to join this forum. I thought I would start with photos of the Tamiya F4J finished as an RAF machine. Started in 1997 and finished in 2018. Been through a number of house moves in this time. Yellow Hammer decals, Eduard brass, Hataka paint. Nose cone finished in brown as per a photo I seen. Not great photos but I hope you like. Regards Michael 12 1

nmayhew Posted September 26, 2019 Posted September 26, 2019 can I ask - as a prop guy - what updates you made / are required to make the UK version? different weapons etc? 1
Michael Scott Posted October 29, 2019 Author Posted October 29, 2019 Firstly apologies for the late reply. I made very little changes from the original US Marines kit. I was guided by info from the old Verlinden lock on book and other info. Some of the batch of aircraft were repainted in standard RAF colours on servicing. I found photos of ZE361 on the internet with what appeared to be replacement nose. I thought this would make an interesting variation to the grey. 1
