  15. Started this vintage 1/32 Revell Hawker Typhoon kit. Should be great fun!! Started the engine work last night by drilling out the exhaust stacks. Going to send the engine down to the paint shop for priming this morning and then start the detailing process. This will be great practice for my upcoming WNW D-Vll build in 2015!!
  16. Wow great looking build!! I just started a vintage Revell 1/32 Hawker Typhoon. I hope I reach the level you did with your build!!
  17. Thanks Day for the kind comment! Truth be told the Revell F-106 kit is a illfitting challenge but fun nontheless!! I've heard that Trumpeter has a new 1/48 kit out that holds better promise, lol!! Can't imagine this in 1/32!! In 1/48 its already 19" long. It's a pretty kit when finished so I'd recommend it even with the fit challenges!!
  18. Incredible kit! I had not realized that it was transparent which adds to the beauty of the plane. Great review Jim and thanks for posting the wonderful video too!!
  19. All finidhed! This is a Christmas Gift to a dearv friend who was a crew chief on F-106's in the late 60's early 70's. Mounted it on a mirrored base to show off the weapons bay!

  21. Big weekend for the F-106!! Semi-gloss gray base coat! Repainted the weapon and gear bays! Maked and painted the nose and started decaling! Installing the weapons! Dry fitting the weapons.

  23. The paint shop put down the final base coat this weekend. Building and installing the road wheels. Weathered and tracks installed. Used a tip from a friend to staple the Tamiya Rubber Tracks. What a great idea!!! See my finished Tamiya Sherman Tank by following this link!!
