  1. The past few months the RAF Museum at Hendon have been busy to dismantle the various aircraft displayed there. In this thread you can follow the ungoing activities there, the pics show a lot of previously unseen details. 2. The cavity has been lined with plastic card. Later to be detailed with the landing light, cables etc. Not to mention filling the rough edges. Cees

  6. Hi Luke, Welcome to LSM. I am curious why you go through all that hassle to strip the photo etch? Are you by any chance in the modelling industry looking at your forum name? Thanks. Cees
  7. Thanks Tom, I know, the HK Models Mossie is beckoning me at the moment. But I have resisted so far. That one has already started as a prototype conversion with the flaps already having been modified to the single flaps. But I still am making plans for the Manchester, so haven't given up. Cees
  8. Fantastic build, even judging by only just one pic That cardoor has that look of not being sure what to be, a prewar aircraft or a fully grown WWII classic. But it has lots and lots of character. Thanks for sharing. Cees
  9. Hi Tom, It will be finished but I haven't touched it for a month. The bomb bay turns out to be a stumbling block but I intend to start work on the wings soon, the landing lights for instance. Cees
  10. It does. Those parts are really nice and really give your project a boost. I haven't touched the Mancunian in a month. Cees
  11. Sounds logical. Cees
  12. Thanks matey, Funny thing is that for the SH Tempest decals for this same livery as the PCM kit are available but with invasion strips on top and bottom wing surfaces. Have to look into this otherwise I have to paint these just as well. Cees
  13. That Airbus A400, did it have a certain actor strapped to it by any chance? Cees
  14. I really like the Sea Fury in Fury prototype colours, hmm perhaps I will repaint my Hobbycraft model. Cees
  15. I had just arrived in Scotland at the time of the Brexit referendum, my holiday got cheaper afterwards. Cees
  16. I know, but then again AM has a reputation for that. Noticed on ebay that prices are a bit less, but then p&p needs adding of course. Cees
  17. I saw the tempest at the Aviation Megastore yesterday. At 92 euro's I would say: Thanks, but no thanks. Cees
  18. Was in Scotland two weeks ago, did not fancy trying Haggis though. Cees
  19. Your mojo is well and truly mended by the look of it. Now get back to the Shack or Stirling. Cees
