  1. Look at those pics, will keep you motivated until the HKM Lancaster appears. https://www.facebook.com/aircraftrestorationcompany/photos/pcb.698738416949495/698728806950456/?type=3&theater Cees
  2. Amazing production line. Do you work on various models at the same time?
  3. Very nice workspace Danny, worlds apart from my diner table workspace.
  4. And there was a pic in MAI with the LSM/HKM stand dead center.
  5. Me.... errr my wife wants one too
  6. You will find that the aiframe at Chino is a full size model, but a very nice one.
  7. That is some serious machinery.
  8. Hi Kent, Thanks, that was just the photo I had been looking for. Information on the Manchester interior is sketchy at least so I mainly use Lancaster references. As the Lanc is basically a Manchester with four Merlins it is quite justified. S - for Sugar at the RAF Museum Hendon was laid down as a Manchester but converted into a Lanc on the production line. Although there are differences regarding some specific Manchester interior details. I cannot seem to find good references about the flight engineers panels but I just use a Lancaster one with two of each engine gauges deleted. Sometimes you have to use artistic license. Cees
  9. Danny I love those cooling gills, you seem to be able to get those pe parts on very cleanly. I can never do that without glueing my fingers together. How do you apply the superglue? (by the way, it was nice meeting your on sunday) Cheers Cees
  10. Are your the blades were made from steel? The blades I have come across during many recoveries were made from aluminium alloy. Interesting. Cheers Cees
  11. Nice atmospheric shot, very inspiring.
  12. How time flies, But I managed to do some work on the interior. For the radio's I use Eduard's Tamiya Mossie set, I also have the set for the HK Models Mossie but the radio's are too small. Cees
  13. Well, I made some very nice progress on saturday, will post pics later.
  14. A complete scratchbuild Gus, I must say I have put this work off for quite a while and concentrated on the wings. Now that these are almost finished I can't stall any longer. And those IPMS SIG modelling afternoons are great for renewed inspiration. Working on the B-17F at the moment too, so two biggies.
  15. Absolutely amazing work, well done. I love the weatherbeaten finish too.
  16. Very nice, I like your attention to detail. Cees
  17. Welcome Ricardo, enjoy yourself here. Cheers Cees
  18. Those selfmade masks look very nice, as they are not perfectly formed they really add an authentic look to the Pfeil. In the final days of the Reich the rules were not strictly adhered to any more. Very nice. Cees
  19. ;)Paper update. I have been working on the B-17F since a few weeks so the Manchester has been back on the shelf. But this coming saturday during the IPMS SIG meeting I will restart on the interior again. Cees
  20. Nice comparision build with Jeroen's Ta-152 project. Just copy and past the IMG link and there you go Cees
  21. Hmm I love the phabulous Phantom.
  22. Amazing exhibit, is this the same that was embedded in a wall at some point?
  23. Nevertheless Jack, the result is impressive. As soon as we modeller have finished a model we want to improve on it and so it should.
