  1. False beards, djellaba on and semi-Arabic talking. They figure that the danger comes from people who look a little less conspicuous as that!
  2. I have that set too. I'll be building a Mk.I too (in the unspecified future....)
  3. Красивая модель! Ну построили. Ну окрашены. Жаль, что наклейки на крыло немного нарушается. Я надеюсь увидеть вас! Больше работы от вас Спасибо! С уважением, Эрик. Translation: Beautiful model! Well built. Well painted. Too bad that the stickers on the wing are a bit broken (silvering). I hope to see more work from you Thank you! regards, Erik.
  4. Huub and I have arrived in Norfolk/Hampton for the upcoming IPMS-USA NATS coming week! Cheers, Erik.
  5. Yes, a very nice sheet! I bought it because it features a Bombphoon based in Holland; Pulverizer II at Eindhoven which is still an Air Force base. In fact, the retrieved remains of the passengers and crew of Flight MH17 were repatriated/ flown back through Eindhoven Airbase to begin the painstaking process of ID-ing the victims by the forensic teams... But I must say PR o M with it's full complement of AEAF-stripes and rockets does tempt me too! A quality product!
  6. My kit also has the problematic canopy. I wonder what a dipping in Future would do to that little crack? Anyhow, I'll be gone from home for a couple of days, so will send the e-mail to Airfix once I get back.
  7. Thanks for your nice review, Mike!
  8. I have the book on the Spit and the Mustang. I regard them as nice books to browse but I didn't find anything that would bring my model to a next level. I will not be buying the Tiffie-book from ADH, unless it's in the 5 GBP-box of a book seller... Just my personal opinion, of course! If you see what build time the builder(s) had from getting the preproduction kits to the publishing date, it's easy to see that they can't possibly do a detailing job like some world renowned modellers do that spend 1-2 years building a Tamiya Tomcat or F-15E... It might whet your appetite to see how Brett Green et al. build paint and weather the basic kit. I'm sure it's very pretty to look at. Only, if I look at your standards of building and finishing models, Dave, I don't think you'll learn anything new...
  9. Welllllll, look what the dog dragged in today..... (the kit that is, not the boy! ) Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooohoooo!
  10. Wow! Looking great Christos!
  11. Thanks Paul, it's sickening...... Idiot seperatists....
  12. Those bumps should be easy to remove, wouldnt they? But wouldn't the wing bulges be a problem? And if it's an Erla-built -G-10, the aft section of the left nose bulge? I have been digging a bit...!
  13. Owwwwhhh, I'll wait a bit then....! Thanks, Steve!
  14. Hi guys, Can the Bf 109G-10 be built as a Bf 109G-6/AS? If so, what would have to be changed? Cheers, Erik.
  15. Hmmm, a shot taken in the hallway of the Argentinian's coach's house: But on the other hand: the first Dutch stage-win in the Tour De France in 9 years!
