  1. Thanks for the next amazing part of the building and painting instructions! Lovely and simply perfect work and documentation!
  2. Tonight I brought life to the green and started with the brown color: Next step is to apply the blue Tack demarcation between the green and brown and finish the airbrushing of the brown color.
  3. Completely agree Peter! Your Kfir is really looking stunning. The Israeli 3-tone camouflage is so nice as the SEA-scheme of the Air Force! You captured the look perfectly! I tried to find out what the meaning of the white stripes on the slats is, but nobody knew so far. Will go on investigating. Maybe Someone here knows? Thanks and you‘re right Gus! Still need some more when it comes to the brown and I have to cover the green where necessary… BTW: When will we see the next update of your beauty?
  4. Awesome work Slash! I would have gone mad if I had to assemble the wheels.
  5. What an amount of correction work you have to do. Can’t understand why Revell made so many faults. Didn‘t know up to now that the wing bulges for the wheels are also wrong. Were the Barracuda correction parts extra created for the Revell kit? Astounding that they don‘t fit at all! Quite good solution for the correction of the fuselage width! The fit of the oil-cooler looks very good! The gaps with the cheek-pieces not! But nothing that can’t be solved. Keep up with the excellent work! I found the Hasegawa 109s in 32nd Scale not that bad. Already build a F and a G. Are they really that bad that we need ZM?
  6. Thank you Peter! Hope the nice going will go on… That’s completely right Rob! It took more than 2 hours to apply the green. You always have to take care of the correct airbrush angle and control the demarcation line. Maybe next time I‘ll try to airbrush freehand. Thanks Gary. This is the moment I‘m really waiting for…
  7. This weathering looks really subtle and I like it this way. Well done Kevin!
  8. Tonight I started with the green color. Did some preshading before applying it: And then I applied the first layer of green: Next step will be to bring life to the green with a lighter shade and blending in.
  9. Nice progress on the face Gary. Looking really good with the oils!
  10. Nice tutorial Gary! Thank you! The pilots heads are not that bad at all regarding the details even if they seem to be too big. Which company are they from? BTW: your German translation is totally correct?
  11. Thank you all for your feedback! @ Gary: these tasks are all so time consuming. But when it’s preparation for painting it’s ok (Better than panelline rework).
  12. Nice detail painting John! The color variations really bring life to the model! Will be a stunner with decals on it!
  13. Amazing work Mark! You really have perseverance! Your builds forced me to also buy a racing car which I had in my mind for a longer time: Hope I can turn it into a nice looking model once I start it…
  14. Tonight I finished the preparation for the 2 other camouflage colors. Needed one package of (reusable) Blue Tack (can open a store with the other 3 I bought ) and lots of masking tape: I also prepared the painting instructions regarding the colors and their demarcation line. G/Gr=Green and Br=Brown: Now I can start the painting.
  15. Where is the RLM74-Tape you promised to use Gary? 😁 To be honest: great preparation of the exhaust section which caused a lot of work but pays off! And the resin upper cowling part again causes rework because there is no seam in that place on the original cowling. Can’t wait to see your next post!
  16. Like the others said: flawless and beautiful first step of the painting process! Looking forward to seeing the next update!
  17. These pictures look like as if they were taken of the real fuselage! Phenomenal work as usual Mike!
  18. Wouldn't it be phenomenal if Tamiya up-scaled either their F-14 or F4B Tomcat to 32nd scale - we can always hope. This is what I hope too Peter! They should only scale up their new F-4B to 32nd scale. Would become a best seller…!
  19. Thanks Peter! The Blue Tack which I need will arrive tomorrow or on Wednesday. As soon as I have it I will continue.
  20. The part fit seems to be nice and the guns are a vast improvement over the kit ones! Camo looks nice as Rob said…😁
  21. Awesome engines and weathering Mark! Curious to see the next update!
  22. That looks stunning Gus! Great masking job and perfect result! The big main gear doors also need 3 colors! You are the masking-champion afterwards!
  23. Great progress Peter and (as usual) pretty good description of the steps you did. The fotos are quite good! Awesome painting of what‘s behind the breather-doors. This seems to be a typical Tamiya kit: awesome in every aspect and detail. Simply fun for the modeler.
