  1. Any news Gus? Or as Hubert would say: Is it done yet?
  2. Thanks Peter, now the finish-line is in sight…! Thank you Martin ! Me and Hubert too… Thanks for your compliment Kevin! Great idea Hubert! If I did it this way It would have been done! 😉 I have 3 weeks holidays now and rest at home. Hope that it is done after that! Do you have enough Popcorn at home?
  3. Great to see you back on the bench Harv! Was long awaited! 👍 And what do you start with: surgery! Well done! Looking pretty good! Will you continue now regularly? Would be great to see more of your work soon!
  4. I‘ve jumped on the Viggen, Hubert. Already bought masks for the beautiful Swedish Splinter Camouflage and the needed colors. When I get it I will start immediately!
  5. Great paintwork on the landing gear and all the other items you painted. The details are really awesome. They should do the kit with the same details in 1/32…
  6. Next small update from my side. Reworked the demarcation lines between the upper and lower colors because they didn’t please me: Then I cleaned up the wheel wells and painted the gun-troughs with Alclad gunmetal: Finally I removed the color from the wing fueltanks because the seam between the upper and the lower part was slightly visible. Repainted them with Alclad white aluminum: Thats all for now. Happy modeling!
  7. Leutnant Weiroster is really looking very good! Like the way he is painted. I‘m with you that his clothes should be a little more matte. Will you add the Leutnant-rank also on the right arm? Very well painted on the left arm! Nice progress also on the plane. Good decision to refuse and rework the movable control surfaces! Looking forward to seeing the next update!
  8. Copy Martin, Wolf: Great problem-solving with the mounting of the guns! This was not a fairly easy task (maybe for you but not for me) and the result and the complete little bird simply looks awesome! Can‘t wait to see the next update!
  9. That looks great John! Clever idea to glue the wires to the back of the ring! I sweat tears to drill 2 tiny holes into each of the outlets for my Corsair engine: Curious how your engine will turn out!
  10. Now that we‘ve seen an original engine can you post some of the model engine?… Awesome work as usual Mike!
  11. Great explanations and foto/ film Ian! Thanks ! Always interesting to learn new facts about the Lanc!
  12. Great work on the (correct!) flight engineers‘ seat and the scratched bench. Did the navigator really joined the seat on the bench with the bomb-aimer? I always thought he was lying in the nose in all versions? But you are THE Lanc expert, David. One can always learn a lot from you!
  13. Gary, I‘ve looked in more detail to your pictures. Do you really think they might fall off the wing? Each of them has 5 attachment points to which the weight load is devided. Just think of the small bolts which attach a wing to the fuselage of a real plane. You would never think that the wing will stay at the plane during flight! Maybe you can do a test and post it a couple of days above a kitchen towel to see if it falls off. I bet it won’t ! But the decision is up to you. If you feel safer you should do your surgery.
  14. Copy that! Absolutely impressive!
  15. That looks absolutely gorgeous Gary! Great details on the rocket launchers and the angles of them under the wing look quite convincing. All the efforts you invested really paid off. Also the rest of the plane comes together very nicely!
  16. Thanks for your feedback! You are right Rob. This will be one example where camouflage isn’t really necessary. It’s only done to make life more complicated for us modelers. The triangles were used by the Israelis for identification purposes in air combat. Was soon copied by the Egyptians on their MiG21…Great value for high painting efforts…
  17. Short update: Nose and part of the pitot painted flat black: and the grey antenna-cover-decals attached. Was too lazy to paint them since they fit very well and their color is good (printed by Cartograph): Grey panels along the fin. and one behind the Cockpit. That‘s it for now. Next step is to do some small touch-ups at the intakes (I removed the masking inside them today) and painting the accessories (Shafrir 2-Rockets and Wheels) and then preparation for decals. At Hubert: Isn‘t ready yet but one more step done!
  18. Taking this into account I will even speed up more Hubert! I don’t want to be responsible that you hate popcorn in the end (and have some more kilos that have to be trained away )! And you should keep something for the other beautiful builds here. Or is it my duty to fill up your storage…?🤔
  19. At first glance I thought I looked at pictures of real planes! Awesome work and pictures!
  20. Great progress Mark! Looks awesome! Love the details!
  21. Thank you Mark! Thank you Hubert! To answer your question: You still have to buy some popcorn. Thank you Gary. The camouflage scheme was the most complicated and time consuming. Hope that I can speed up with the rest now.
