Thanks Harv, I just hope I can make it close to that....

I know this may not be a big deal to some, and I KNOW for a fact that my mom isn't on LSM or that she doesn't build models, BUT............... she turned 95 yesterday , and is still living with my dad in their own home on an acre of land, and yes I do go over and help out, and she is slowing down a bit, but she is as sharp as a tack, so don't even think of screwing with her..., but I thought 95 was a pretty cool mile stone, just thought I'd share that ........

We have had a shot of 'termination dust' on our local mountain tops too..... I still have my roadster on the road..................... for now, looks like it's going to be a LONG winter ahead, damn......

Hey Vandy, no I'm afraid not, these trucks were CMP's, which is unique to Canada, as CMP is short for Canadian Military Pattern, and as I am an Air Force guy, and not a grunt, someone may know more than me, but I have never seen these in any other Military than ours, and they are old school now, our new Deuces are International or Navastar tandem trucks and they are huge..... so this would be a rather rare kit conversion I'd think....

Ok, I am going to toss my hat in the ring...................... I like it, too, as it is LS Modeller, which in my little mind opens the door, and if it gets closed, make sure my fingers are not in the way, but does it open the door for maybe 1/25 scale trucks and or cars? I build trucks too, and that is technically 'large scale' is there a place here for those possibly?

The only thing that REALLY sucked were the CMP Military tires, what a crappy design, and yes I know why they were like that, BUT they sure weren't good in the Alberta Gumbo......................
-
I would never argue about the math Phil.............. it certainly looks good to me.................... 38 inches........................my bench would not handle one wing !well maybe just barely....... I would like one, but I would have to get the purchase PAST "MY" Minister of Finance, and then I would have to actually build it, and or find a place to put it....... oh the stresses of it all ! I thought modelling was supposed to be stress relief?Seriously I will live my Lancaster fascination through the builds you guys are going to post here....it is exciting times for sure.....

Ernie, here in B.C. sometimes we say we are hungry enough to eat the arse out of a skunk...................... I have never heard of being tepidly hungry enough to eat the butt out of a frog! And you're right they do look a little human like even if a smaller scale.................

Well said Peter, and I really LIKE Wumm's answer, hats off to you.... good points, both... kind of like a bad divorce, " I don't want you and I don't want anyone else to have you either "..... that's kind of how it looks like it is shaping up to me ..... just my 2c worth....

AH......................... yeah good old Alberta mud will do it........................... BUT I wasn't the guy driving..... she was mighty stuck though.....
-
Like Harvey, I'm out of likes...............................

Looks like the one I drove at CFB Cold Lake in the '70's, and it was BRAND NEW, had NO miles on it and it was a 1956 model year.... Yes , I well remember these, the ride in the back wasn't quite as nice as the ride in the front, BIG 6 cyl gas pot automatic, regular drive on the left side of the shifter box, and 6x6 on the right side of the shifter box..... I do believe this is unique to Canada being the CMP, " Only in Canada eh?................... Pity" You have to be a certain age for that last line and maybe even be a Canadian.............. right Ernie??

so, just how big is this thing going to be? in Inches not mm's please..LOL!!! I see the wing chord looks massive, in the guy's hand......... these will be epic builds..... I can't wait until all you guys get on these, it will be a feast for the eyes....
