Are you on 'parole' now, John? Are you on some sort of watch list? or are you back to regular business as usual?
-
Wow, that's cool, Ron and a good amount of research as well...... the Mack Camel Back suspension is some of the best in the biz......... Personally I have never been much into European trucks, and I have no idea why, as some of their iron is fabulous.....
-
In the rpm/torque range no doubt..
-
Ron, I hope that guy isn't 'riding the clutch ' !!! If he is he will fry the "Throw out Bearing ! Then you will be doing a clutch job !

Seems to me, that my dad fought a world war to prevent this kind of speech supression ................. he is almost 99 years old, so I guess that war doesn't count any longer ...... this cancel culture is getting way out of hand..... I am not a F/B guy or Twitter or any of those other things, this forum is as far as I go.............. beside most folks don't give a damn about what I think anyway, it's just here where you guys are patient with me... and as far as I'm concerned there is a lot of ................. how did Piers Morgan call it........... oh yeah ... 'bilge' that folks post that is just not really needed (for me anyway) or that interesting ..... but that is just my worth............. I am always interested to see how far this will go, and am very hopeful it will soon stop and we can get back to the important things of life............... one of the real puzzling things to me is..... who are these people making these decisions on what's right and what's wrong on my behalf? Hang in there , Steve............and best of luck with the new job !

Fokker E.V / D.VIII Parasol Mikro Mir 1/32
Jeff replied to DocRob's topic in LSM 1/35 and Larger Work In Progress
Glad to have been of some use, Rob, I thought it was a rather smart way to align the struts, and there is no way I would have thought of it either..... for me my brain has no "hard disc', more of a 'floppy disc' for me -
The 378 is one of my top favorites for sure, looks like a real truck ready for work
-
THANKS , Ron..... Yes the 377AE walk in sleeper makes the difference.... for sure and looks perfect as she sits, nice head ache rack too.... lower cab fenders are sure different on the 377 eh? A local fellow had a 377 as a gravel truck here for a long time, the only one around here for sure..... I think it has gone out to pasture now, but he had it a long time...... looking forward to more, Ron

Rob............. I think I may have an idea for your next bi-plane or parasol..... on another site a fellow is doing a 1/48 scale Camel.....to which , obviously needs to have the cabane struts attached correctly, and he came up with an ingenious idea that I am going to try and he show it works perfectly with no fuss.... he takes a clear flat piece of plastic, puts it on the bottom of the top wing, and marks where the struts are to be located, he then punches little holes for the struts to sit in for accurate alignment as they dry on the fuselage, and when dry he removes the clear jig and just sets the top wing on in perfect alignment..... I'm most definitely going to give this a go... also as you align the struts, you can see them perfectly through the clear plastic -
A friend of my wife's got 'banned' for mentioning that Canada is still not allowing cruise ships into Vancouver ! and He WORKS for a Cruise Line !! Go figure........ because I can't ...................

Jeff replied to GazzaS's topic in Modelling Discussion
