  1. I agree Phil. Fingers crossed they will!
  2. I'm a little surprised no one has already started this. So....I will LOL. Not necessarily in order, all 1/32. (I know some are available now from Trumpeter and others but, in my humble opinion, they leave a lot to be desired or are difficult to find.) F6F Hellcat series F4F Wildcat series F4U-4 P-51B/C F9F Panther and Couger F8F Bearcat A-20G B-26 Marauder P-38G/H PV-2 Harpoon Hawker Typhoon That pretty well covers my wish list.
  3. Some very nice work there Carl! Well done.
  4. At least the B-24 is 1/72 Ernie. LOL
  5. Thanks Phil.
  6. Thank you Mike!
  7. Thanks Gaz! Yes I do like the Hellcat and Wildcat. I have a couple of Hellcats that I built a few years ago and another in the stash. As for Wildcats, there just isn't a accurate 1/32 kit out there or I'd be building some. The Trumpeter model has some significant problems with the fuselage behind the cockpit (too wide). Too bad. Maybe Tamiya will some day issue a kit of both a/c in 1/32. THAT would be outstanding! (By the way, that's a P-63, not a P-39. )
  8. Thanks Ernie. That's fine with me.
  9. Nice work there!!!
  10. Just for grins.
  11. NICE work!! And you guys are always saying how fast and prolific I am! Got nothing on you!!!
  12. Yes, I like it.
  13. This is the a/c I'm doing.
  14. Fuselage closed up now it's on to the wings.
  15. Thanks. The IP is Eduard. Easy peasy.
  16. Thanks Gaz. I didn't go "over the top" on adding wiring, etc since it would be hard to easily see. And I'm lazy.
  17. Just about finished with the front end. I painted it with my mix of flat scale black and added some Eduard instrument panels, etc. Seats, since they were leather, I painted straight flat black. And you can see where the wireless ops windows have been re-located (messy inside, not outside!).
  18. Yes indeed it is Ernie!
  19. Thanks Kev. I'm glad you like it.
  20. I will whenever the time comes. Not real soon I'm afraid.
  21. Thanks! I used a semi-gloss "scale black" that I mixed using MM Flat Black, MM Gloss Black and some MM Flat White. Using the white gives it more of a scale look than just dead black. When finished I oversprayed the whole model with Alclad Clear Flat. I usually use a mix I call "flat scale black" on various things like radios, tires, etc.
  22. Got the radio operator's windows re-located.
  23. I decided to go on and pick up the HK 1/48 B-17G as a Christmas present to myself. (The 1/32 4-engine birds are just TOO big.) Now I know for sure I'll get a new kit for Christmas! LOL
