John, I’ve started shooting some paint at my Corsair, be really interested in the way you approach weathering. Done loads on armour but never on aircraft......thanks

I got away with it............in the UK you can probably count the number of hot sunny days on both hands, so they’ll not be a lot of alfresco modelling ...........

So, lovely sunny day in good old Blighty, the Corsair is lined up for the spray booth, the Camel is awaiting rigging material to arrive, what better than glueing bits and pieces together outside............... and it’s a JET, my first for 45 years............

Agree with everything that has been said. I came over around from TOS about the time Harv and Ernie did. Never felt comfortable there but here is like a breath of fresh air. Before I’d never publish WIP or finished builds and my modelling was just jogging along. At LSM I now push the boundaries knowing that you guys will be positive and supportive and if any criticism or observations are required they are conveyed in a kind and rationale way. I think my modelling skills have got better since arriving and these sublime shores..............thanks guys you are the best..... and I mean it.....

Unbelievable, until there is an announcement, I’m keeping my fingers crossed, unfortunately with the world as it is now speculation is futile.

Danny, quick question if I may, the ZM F4J calls out overall grey for the fuselage. Unfortunately this is a special from Vallejo. They call for FS36440, I cross referenced this with XF20 but that’s Medium Grey, seems to dark. What did you use?

This stay at home is starting to make me do some weird stuff. Was researching what paints are required for my ZM F4J. Picking every bottle and tin up see the code got to me.......so............I now have all my paints referenced in a spreadsheet with FS and RLM codes..........I’ll be counting rivets next........nooooooooo and as a dyed in the wool prop person, I was looking at starting a jet thingy...........
