  1. Martin , much appreciated, as I said before for a 48th the Phantom is a big old bird...........
  2. Thanks Harv, I was a little confused when I saw the instructions........
  3. Ok , in at the deep end, my first jet for 45+ years. This is my first ZM as well and so far been very impressed. The engineering is very good and the detail for a 1/48 is outstanding. Love the Cartograf IP decals went down beautifully. Added some wiring behind the rear panel, I think that’s right? For a 1/48 it’s not small, fuselage inc nose cone around 15” or 380mm. Please bear with me as I know very little about jets, so come along for the journey if you are so inclined.....
  4. Martin gets blamed for everything
  5. Which PT is that Michael?.........you’ve got all of us thinking now.......... I looked up the old Tamiya Vosper, was actually 1/72 and came out in 1971............
  6. Looking good there Harv, never contemplated 1/16 because of the size, but this FT is stunning and relatively small.........looking forward to the paint....

  12. Looking forward to the build
  13. Well I’ve got a big fat doughnut of WnW stash, that’s zero btw, one on the bench and that will bee the end for me.......let’s just pray it doesn’t descend into “scalpers” paradise.......
  14. Been almost three weeks since last update, been finishing off the Tempest, starting to put the Corsair through the booth and started the F4J..........I know squirrel.... Anyway, the monofilament has arrived and just squaring this away to start finishing this baby off. It’s been perfect building, if only I had read the instructions etc etc.....but very pleased so far.......hoping WnW news is not bad that I’ll never build another........
  15. I love the crossover between AFV scale and ship modelling, I am really tempted now.........I remember as a kid I always loved the look of the old Tamiya Vosper but that was 40 years ago, looking forward to more of the build Michael.......
