  1. Rob, definitely do a WIP on this baby........
  2. I’m with Ernie , never heard of these guys / series. The only sci-fi i have ever known is Dr Who, the original Star Trek with James T Kirk and Lost in Space...........and probably the original series of Thunderbirds, strings and all..........
  3. Looking forward to this John, nice to see a change of scales.........
  4. Absolutely gorgeous...........stunning......
  5. Welcome aboard Winnie, great to see new faces......
  6. I’m with Rog and Ernie........either Short Stirling or Wellington.........please ........
  7. Great pictures Smitty, been a long since I saw a U2 flying..........thanks for sharing
  8. Antonio, absolutely stunning build, the camo and weathering.....wow.....congrats........
  9. Ok , a couple of hours today after watching rugby all morning and chores........ tracks cleaned up and assembled, removable for painting.............
  10. Thanks Harv, much appreciated.........
  11. Jeff, you’re too kind. This build pushed me and have never done as much PE in my life. My old Mission Models bender came in for a lot of use but the small parts have to bent with pliers or even tweezers. The fenders lining up is a pure coincidence. The Eduard sheet brass Zimmerit is a cheat but suits my limited bench time. It maybe a little to regular for some people but I am really happy with it........as for the painting, I am really happy with the road wheel camouflage pattern but as for replicating that on the hull and turret..........help........I washed the whole model last weekend ( never model during the week because of getting home past 8.00 pm every night ) so should be nice a dry. All being well base coating tomorrow.......
  12. Thanks, the PE in the end was fun, this build certainly pushed me. Suppose that’s what GB is supposed to do..........
  13. Thanks Rob, I like the metal looks as well. The PE at the start was daunting but slowly got to grips with it, learnt a lot. Not sure if to knock this around to much, with the PE I’m worried in ruining it for a few dents.........I’ll base coat it first in think........
  14. Thanks Mike, hope I don’t go and mess it up spraying and weathering it.......
  15. Absolutely stunning Rob, love the restrained weathering. Less is more IMHO......
  16. Thoughts and prayers with the families and the historic flying community.
  17. One day John I’ll finish mine
  18. I’ve spent many hours on a Fergie. My father had two, one neat trick was you to independently lock the rear wheels. Great for doing doughnuts around trees.
  19. Happy Birthday old chap.......
  20. Ok, here’s a thought. So HKM have given us a 17 in both scales, I hope they’ll do the same with the Lanc. Please...........
  21. I did drop briefly over TOS, the usual suspects, again............
  22. Ok guys, I’m calling this one done and ready for the spray booth. I have learnt a lot about PE on this one and using zimmerit brass sheeting. The wheels will be stripped of and the tracks sprayed and weathered separately. With all the brass I’m going to soak the whole model in washing up liquid for a couple of hours to degrease it. Hopefully by next weekend it will be dry to start spraying. If you guys spot anything I’ve missed just shout......... Now back to the Sd.Kfz. 166.......
