  5. That confirms it, I have a Takom M3 Grant in the stash and wanted to add it to the GB. It was way to late for the M3’s unfortunately...........I think......
  6. Love it Kev, this is going to be fun GB...........never built the Bren and probably never seen one built........looking forward to it......

  13. Brilliant John, I have some original HMSO publications during the war, my father kept them, I must photograph them a post them.....
  14. These have been accumulating over probably 3 years, didn’t have the right set up for spraying etc until recently. Now I have it’s good to finish projects and also gives me more bench space....
  15. Gaz, I’ve done four and Male IV and Panzer III are sprayed and just need weathering etc......the Tempest and Corsair need base coating etc......
  16. Jeff, the road wheels are a pain, I don’t think you’d ever get the wheels to sit square whilst you assemble the sides, so I assembled the sides and then trimmed the road wheel axles a fraction so they would slip into there locations at an angle. Then I added extra thin to seat them square. Takom want them to be useable and rotate, why..........I replaced the tracks with Master resin ones. Even they need care snapping together as the lugs in resin are fragile. Other than that quite straight forward. Shame about the sponson 6 pounders because once installed you can’t see them...........
  17. Remember this list of all the projects I was going to finish before starting something new....... M3A4E8 Panzer III G Male IV Fw190 D9 - 48th Marder III H Matilda Tamiya Birdcage - 32nd SH Tempest V - 32nd LRDG Chevy Sherman M4DV well items 1, 5, 9, & 10 are finished and in the cabinet....next in line is Takom Male IV........ now the weathering and completing........
  18. Apparently they are not tracking over London (where the office is) on the 5th. This is a great shame as when we had the 100th if the RAF all the streets we jammed with people looking. I’m sure there will be lots of coverage.........Duxford is around 2 hours away from me now so I will not have the chance.......

  21. Here’s an idea, probably thought of it before, the old Airfix Refuelling set had a matador as part of assemble. Is scale-ing up an option?
  22. How did I miss this, absolutely stunning, congrats on the weathering, very realistic........
  23. Duxford now holds 35 Daks ready for the celebrations...... https://www.daksovernormandy.com/news/daks-over-normandy-historic-route-revealed/
