Bomber_County replied to Peterpools's topic in LSM 1/35 and Larger Work In Progress
Stunning Peter, camo looks perfect as usual and the decals look like the went down perfectly. What did you use as a gloss coat prior to decals……….this is going to be very nice indeed…… -

Tamiya Birdcage Corsair
Bomber_County replied to JohnB's topic in LSM 1/35 and Larger Work In Progress
Looking brilliantly as ever John, could you photograph the glass fuselage panel that sits behind the canopy, this is where I’ve stalled on mine in fitting the the wrong ones and upside down I think. Thanks….. -

Hmmmmm I have 3 years before state retirement age, so yes I still have to return to the yoke next week……. -
How long is the GB? I may do both…….looking forward to the Beaufort as it an underrated early workhorse. Also the squadron was based at North Coates just up the road from me before Strike Wing Beaufighters. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RAF_North_Coates

New Kinetic Gold Series 1/48 announced.
Bomber_County replied to Clunkmeister's topic in Modelling Discussion
Not knowing a lot about the Tudor was this a derivative of the BAC Jet Provost? -
If and when it is released, the million dollar question will be ……….will be Grade A Trumpeter or Grade E……..

The GB selection is between the Beaufort and the 80’ Elco PT boat…….

A couple of items which were found under the tree. The ICM Beaufort May become a Group Build contender. At last found a supplier of Tamiya polish, for some unknown reason it disappeared over here. Also my first modelling jig, been coveting one of these for ages. Plus more weathering materials for AFV’s…

1/32 Short Stirling
Bomber_County replied to ThomasProbert's topic in LSM 1/35 and Larger Work In Progress
Stunning Tom, the Stirling is my favourite 4 engine workhorse. So wish someone would do a IM of it, my skill set is nowhere close to yours. Merry Xmas…. -

Totally agree Gaz, finishing up Tamiya Pz III L, it’s pretty devoid of any detail and has rubber bands………..……..I’d add RFM to be fairly close to Dragon, never built Meng -

Please will some remind in the future not to attempt to finish two tanks and a halftrack all at the same time. What with three different weathering palettes plus markings to do plus tools and road wheels etc etc….. it’s getting a little daunting………roll on the GB but I will finish this trip first……🤪 -
Stay safe guys and hunker down…..
