Great start Neil, you are a braver man than I, looking forward to learning something about resin. Some guys have been messing with resin for years but it’s good to see a first project in its entirety…… -

I think the Gannet has been overlooked but baffled why Airfix released it. Good on them and thank you. I haven’t built Airfix since I was a kid. If it’s good I’ll give a go…….. -

Great subject Rob. I have a stalled King George V from Tamiya.. I hope the PE instructions are better than the White Ensign were for the KGV. As you rightly said once all the PE is fitted it will look amazing especially from your bench…..

A few hours at the bench, I’m finding there are a few part lines to clean up and ejector positions to file. The instructions are a little vague especially where holes have to opened up. Added some homemade AM to the ready locker and done a lot of research. This is so big I want to add as much detail as I can find……..- 176 replies

It will not fit unfortunately, this one will have to sit on a shelf……… -
Rog, if the LED down lights were specified in writing and subsequently quoted on, the contractor cannot then change the spec. There can be no variation without reduction of monies or negotiated compromise. Also to retro fit ceiling mounted elements will impact completed ceiling finishes. Just a thought……
