  1. I reckon Ernie has caught the speed virus from John……….
  2. Could never get into Iron Maiden etc, more R&B, jazz and soul………with a little Northern Soul thrown in, UK guys would know that…….
  3. Unbelievable……..cheapest over here around £110.00 around $136…….
  4. Shiny new cutting mat as well?……….big respect………..
  5. Great start Neil, you are a braver man than I, looking forward to learning something about resin. Some guys have been messing with resin for years but it’s good to see a first project in its entirety……
  6. Stunning Camo and oil washes. I haven’t tried oil yet but like the look of the results. Do you hard mask the camo or freehand and then fill in…….
  7. What can I say, slow down man……….exquisite as ever John……..
  8. I think the Gannet has been overlooked but baffled why Airfix released it. Good on them and thank you. I haven’t built Airfix since I was a kid. If it’s good I’ll give a go……..
  9. Thanks John, I’ll look out for it in Prime reading……
  10. Trying to find stock of those Nuts & Bolts, they are rarer than unicorn poo………I may just invest in a small 3D printer and then I can print stuff at my leisure…..
  11. I am reacquainting myself with 50 year old albums, I do this every year now. So this year looking Pink Floyd’s Dark Side and Stevie Wonders Innervisions to name a couple. Talking Books from Stevie Wonder is now 51 years old……..
  12. Good start Gaz, even at 72nd this big. Be cool to do the 1/35 ……..
  13. Nice start Mark, why oh why do manufacturers screw up instructions. All they need to do is get five modellers to build the prototypes and amend where necessary and bam we are all happy…..
  14. Gaz, you certainly do. I’m doing a lot of research to add that extra detail……just takes time finding the references……
  15. Great subject Rob. I have a stalled King George V from Tamiya.. I hope the PE instructions are better than the White Ensign were for the KGV. As you rightly said once all the PE is fitted it will look amazing especially from your bench…..
  16. Nice choice Ernie, right up your street a biplane, resin and rigging. What’s not to like…….looking forward to it……
  17. Kev, this is going to be amazing, haven’t ever seen this built up…….
  18. It’s home is a carrier that sits on water and if they miss the deck they are in the water………in my humble opinion I’d say yes, check with Ernie……..
  19. A few hours at the bench, I’m finding there are a few part lines to clean up and ejector positions to file. The instructions are a little vague especially where holes have to opened up. Added some homemade AM to the ready locker and done a lot of research. This is so big I want to add as much detail as I can find……..
  20. It will not fit unfortunately, this one will have to sit on a shelf………
  21. Rog, if the LED down lights were specified in writing and subsequently quoted on, the contractor cannot then change the spec. There can be no variation without reduction of monies or negotiated compromise. Also to retro fit ceiling mounted elements will impact completed ceiling finishes. Just a thought……
  22. Haven’t seen one of these built for ages. I haven’t got into post war AFV’s yet but very close, there are so many Panzer IV’s you can build. How do you find AFV as a manufacturer, never built any of their range yet. Looking forward to more pics……
  23. I am looking at the Red Fox as we speak. I’d rather go Red Fox route for obvious reasons. By the looks of their site the quality looks good. James, on my Mossie yet to be built, I’ve added HGW belts and mesh AM for the filters. I bought the Yahu IP but l like the look of the Red Fox IP………
