SH Tempest Mk.II HIgh Tech Kit
Bomber_County replied to Peterpools's topic in LSM 1/35 and Larger Work In Progress
Excellent and perfect start, so neat………some of the PE is a tad small on this……. -
Never worked with 3D printed parts but these do look a little delicate in places. There is some great detail but I’d be scared of breaking a lot of the components…….looking forward to a WIP on this one…..

New scalpel blade and carefully run around the panel as many times as required to scribe through it…….that’s how I do it!!!…….working in the design industry, I’ve never had to buy a set of scalpel blades so I tend to change them regularly……my go to blades are always Swann & Morton ………….

Fly MK IIC Hurricane re-do
Bomber_County replied to JohnB's topic in LSM 1/35 and Larger Work In Progress
How did you find the Fly Hurricane, you get differing view points? -
Thanks Peter, for once in the UK it’s hot and sunny, so being on furlough, I’ve taken to the garden with the Ju88 engines for a bit of al fresco bench time…..
-
Peter I reckon that’s a good course of action, you’re right about dust as well my builds are like a massive magnet to dust…….the open canopy would also show your immaculate pit if you decide to go that way…..here’s hoping the canopy arrives soon…..
-
Gaz, my concern as well, the new Ju88 has to be buttoned up
-
Having two projects in the spray booth, I was missing the smell Xtra Thin in the morning plus the whole building process……..so…….I present the ICM Junkers Ju88A-11, this was the tropical version of the venerable A4. This will be a new build in many ways, first ICM kit, first German bomber and first German aircraft in the display case. Hope you will join me for the odyssey…..

SH Tempest Mk.II HIgh Tech Kit
Bomber_County replied to Peterpools's topic in LSM 1/35 and Larger Work In Progress
Peter, glad to see something on the bench, I built the SH Tempest V hi tech. Test fit the cockpit tube assembly against the wing and fuselage when taped together. On mine had to do some grinding before it sat correctly……yours will fit perfectly……….pulling a chair…. -

Share how COVID-19 Quarantine has affected you.
Bomber_County replied to 1to1scale's topic in General Discussion
Mandatory return to the office but without any guidance on social distancing, masks or COVID prevention / mitigation measures. Their attitude is, there is no pandemic just get back in the office and get on with it……..the main reason for taking umbrage to this stance, is that my wife is clinically vulnerable because of underlying health issues. So I have to protect her and be mindful of what I may be subjected to……. -
