I only have a H&S Ultra the two in one (0.2 & 0.4) but it works for me, when I bought my compressor it came with a cheap dual action brush with three needles. The 0.5 is perfect for priming etc……

Have you tried the AK True Metal paste tubes……..the engine looks stunning…

Didn’t realise it’s been so long since I put this down………so with P38 finished, Pz IV H in the booth, it’s time to finish the 51……..decided on the livery and doing preparation work ready for the booth …… but………the livery chosen shows a Dallas canopy, which I’m not a great fan of…..so would it be a heinous crime to substitute it with the either IngleWood canopies ????….ZM supply all three………be interested in your comments……

Thanks Rob, would well recommend RFM, still have a half a box of spares. Just had a marathon session, with the chassis, turret, schurzen x 15 plus 22 wheels etc …..damn forgot tracks …….there is plenty to spray……..this is my first schurzen AFV as well…..Gaz mentioned about the process, it’s tricky……..I think once everything is in base colour it will be assembled and then camouflaged…..that’s the plan at present……..

I reckon something a little different, I like interspersing AFV with aircraft …….the Ju88 will be very different for me….

Thanks Rob, very appreciative of your kind words. Definitely leap into the Academy as a precursor for the Tamiya. I made the mistake of putting the wrong u/c bays in the wrong booms, be careful. The rear canopy is needs a little sanding to seat right, mine doesn’t. For once the painting came out as I wished, even though I sprayed the spinners 4 times……….also put a lot of weight in the nacelles and nose…….

Carl, in the reorganisation of the space hopefully you included more display cabinets……..never modelled a car…….

This looks like a beast and a half, it’s a project not for the faint heated for sure. ……wonder what the buy to build / completed ratio will be……….just wondering….

Hmmm of course you’re right, not sure about going straight into the same aircraft. I have an ICM Ju 88 A11 in 48th…..Three aspects appeal, never built a Ju88 or ICM and I haven’t built a German aircraft in 45 odd years……..

Great build, congrats on the award……..horrendous back story…….. another kit for the wish list……..
